Pumps long term?

Postby Glove23 » Tue Apr 06, 2021 9:29 am

Hey guys,

Reading posts and want to give these a try. Read some posts about long term use for sex, fingers crossed as this is a lot more appealing to me than implant currently.

What I would like to know, is this safe long term? Are different positions attainable? I can live with some discomfort and sparse orgasms. Sex rarely lasts more than 10 mins so I dont plan on anything over 20 mins. Just wondering of long term damage risks, i.e. fibrosis. Etc. Ive had ED forever so thats not changing. This could be huge if it works tho.

I regularly use one. In addition to doing what they claim, it helps with the snap you can get when rings are applied from the cylinder and makes the rings easier to remove.

I am 76 so "long term" is relative.:) Haven't had any problems so far.
Our old bodies don't bend into as many positions as they used too.

I have looked at the link to UandMe with the foam sleeve, googled foam sleeves for info or videos. To re ask the question on Glove23, what does the foam sleeve do and how does it work?

From the UAndMe site:
"...Pump efficiency is enhanced by improving the seal against the body, while preventing scrotal tissue from being sucked into the cylinder. The Penile Sleeve makes using constriction rings more comfortable."

If you use good tight restriction rings you will experience some discomfort. They can snap when going from the cylinder to your dick. They are difficult to ignore, especially at first, and can cause a "pinching sensation". Sometimes getting them off can be painful when the "lawn" is not trimmed. Nothing ruins post-coital bliss faster than yanking a couple of pubic hairs out by the roots. A penile foam sleeve helps with all those problems. In my experience, it greatly reduces the overall discomfort. Your mileage may vary.

I have to agree totally with AnotherOldMan concerning the foam sleeve. He is the one that introduced me
to the foam sleeve, I bought it and have used it every time I have sex. It does not interfere at all with your
activities and it greatly helps with the snapping effect of the cock rings and the tightness of the cock rings
which many of us experience. You will get used to using it and it will become a regular part of your sexual
activities. Again, it does not interfere in any way and also greatly helps when you want to slip the ring or
rings off. Try it, you might like it!! And again, thank you to AnotherOldMan for his advice..........
I will also add it greatly helps with the "hinge" effect, you can achieve a pretty nice looking dick :D

That's a fact and something you should be prepared for. When using silicone rings some manscaping is imperative. I discovered this the hard (OK, a pun if you want it to be.) way. The foam sleeve may solve pumping issues. I've never had one. Otherwise some close trimming of the forest around the base also helps with pumping. Shaving isn't necessary but close trimming in the appropriate areas, IMHO, is.

bldoink.....I agree on the "trim up the bushes". When I started pumping I had not done
that and I discovered two things........you cannot get a good seal with the pump if the
bushes are not trimmed, and more importantly, when you slide a cock ring off in an
untrimmed bush, you are gonna totally ruin the enjoyment you just enjoyed. Nothing
worse than a cock ring pulling out your pubic hair from the bottom of your toes!!!
At least that's how it feels........trust me, I do know.....
