Post op I had a bad reaction to the antibiotic impregnated on the Titan cylinders. Felt like I was sunburned and the skin on my shaft got peeled off. That lasted for 4-5 months but lessened with time until I'd inflate. Then that sensation would return for a couple days. By month 7 no problems.

Guess I was lucky! No reaction to the cylinder antibiotic...only all the other drugs used and incompetency of the doc and surgical/ recovery staff.
77; ED at 50. Fired by 1st doc (Szobota - VA Uro) too many q's & contact w/ Coloplast rep. New doc: Ellen (VA Uro) implanted 11/8/18. 22cm Titan + 2cm RTEs; moron docs, product rep, intake/ dischg nurses! NEVER again! L- 6.75"; G- 5.5" oval.

To those who were in my shoes with an antibiotic reaction, thank you for sharing. Thought I was just super unlucky with that.

To those asking about measurements, my length was 6" preop. 1 week postop, I started cycling. 3 weeks postop, after being sexually aroused, I'm about 5.6". Not sure how likely it is I'll be 6" again after finishing 1-2months of cycling but I'll see. Even if not, still happy with average length. Just to see that the doctor kept his word, I hope to see length is close to the same pre-op. I don't remember my girth pre-op (I'll ask doc next time), but by the looks of it, the good news I can tell girth has likely increased. I'm guessing by 0.4" for a total of 4.8", but the increase isn't officially true until I see the pre-op measurements.

When I 1st started cycling 1 week in, I remember being able to reach 25 pumps. 25 pumps was too painful, so I decreased to about 14. 3 weeks in, now I can only pump to about 16 before the pump gets too hard to squeeze. I guess healing quickly got in the way, so I can't reach 25 pumps anymore. The lesson here may be that a few extra pumps of pain is worth it initially, for long term results. My guess is that overtime, I can squeeze a few more pumps in.

I also tested sensitivity to orgasm 3 weeks in. Good news is after pumping 7x, I was able to maintain sensation sensitivity to orgasm. 3 days later, I pumped 16x and it was too painful to feel sensation so I wasn't able to orgasm. Doc says that's normal and it'll probably take 3 months postop to resolve.

That was the worst part of my recovery. Pain was pretty bad the first couple of weeks and the hydrocodone and tramadol did nothing but make me nauseated. Percocet worked but the side effect of constipation was almost as bad as the pain. Then at week 6 or so when I started to inflate the sunburn sensation kicked in. I wore a kids sock on my shaft for the first couple months whenever I had to dress to go out. I also found a dab of Aspercream smeared down my shaft took away most of that sunburn feeling. As the weeks went by it lessened but when I'd inflate it would get worse. That really kept me from cycling like I should have and think I've lost almost an inch in length.
Pumping now is easier, and it takes me about 25 pumps to max out. If you don't squeeze the bulb all the way every time the number of pumps will vary. I've hit 30+ pumps before maxing out because I know a few pumps weren't complete.

Scariest part of my recovery before, but now constipation is. Even though Eid still wanted me to cycle everyday, I skipped 2-3 days to allow time for dermatitis to heal, as it got irritated from squeezing during deflating. Much of it is healed after 2 weeks. Sorry it lasted months for you. How long it lasts probably depends on how much antibiotics was taken and how allergic one is. I received Vancomycin and gentamicin on surgery day, titan was not coated, took 750mg Keflex every 12hrs for 14 days, and reacted on day 14. I've had a history of allergies/eczema when younger, so I learned what treatments works for my body. That's eat/sleep/move well, get a bit of sun, minimize daily showers to 5 minutes, avoid very hot showers, minimal soap/shampoo, no moisturizing, avoid itching (but if the urge is excessive, gently rub/itch with clean hands). This "less is more" treatment may/may not work for you.

If you guys don't mind, please help by sharing your size difference while deflated and inflated, and if you have the titan or AMS. Can help to understand what range of size difference is usual. Unsure but I think my size while deflated increased a bit faster than while inflated:
While inflated and aroused today, size is 5.6".
3 days post op while deflated, size is 4.15" (don't think I was left partially inflated but I'll ask Eid.). 4 weeks later today while deflated, 4.5".

Followed instructions to deflate to avoid auto-inflation, so is this just tissue stretching? Due to the semi-erection, I feel I can orgasm while deflated now. As we spend most our lives in a deflated state, I might have liked AMS slightly more. Heard it's more comfortable in the deflate state.

Length deflated is 14.5cm, 5.75"; inflated 15.6cm, 6 1/8". Pre implant erect length in younger days was always 5.5", not bone pressed as I used to measure from pubic skin out. Flaccid never measured pre op but was head only, no shaft. Also I have zero head engorgement now due to ED so that would add another centimetre if possible.

There is a big difference between my pre op flaccid length and now. Not so much between flaccid and erect now. Due to the size of the implant in the flaccid state it keeps the penis at a longer flaccid length than pre op. I really, really like this side effect of the implant 8-) .
AMS 700 lgx fitted, not bad deflated but I am still aware of implant when wearing underwear.
Implanted AMS 700 lgx, Jan 15th 2021. 18cm with 3cm rte.

In my 30's my penis was a good 6-6 1/2" although I never did an actual measurement. Girth was never my strong point, maybe 4 1/2". I know when ED hit I started losing length because I was flaccid all the time, except for the occasional morning wood or if using pills or injections. Post implant I am now 5 1/4" length and 5" girth.
Again due to the issues I had early on I avoided inflating except for sex. Then again my doc never told me to do cycling, and didn't find FT until 5 months post to learn that I should have. At 6 months post I started cycling daily. After 2 months there was very little gain, depressed me and I gave up. Now inflation is only for sex, but I'm happy it gets hard and can still satisfy my beautiful wife.

Thanks for all the help here. Between this thread and searching posts, it helped. I ask doctor questions but it's useful to hear from a group that actually have implants. I guess all I can do to give back is help time to time as I get more experience.

1) Thanks for sharing OldGuy. Although I was more curious to hear about how much size difference members have while deflated and inflated, as Boots shared.

2) Anyone ever ask doctors if priapism is a risk for people with 3piece implants? I probably will never stay inflated longer than 4-5hrs, but I'm thinking for cycling, it's convenient to inflate before bed (while applying a heating pad for comfort). Problem is there's a chance of not waking up before 4hrs to deflate it (heating pad shuts off after 90 minutes, so no risk).
If priapism is a risk, maybe it's better I set another alarm 30minutes before waking up for inflating. Wake up 30 minutes later to deflate.

3) For scrotal support, I read some people here like DAVID ARCHY underwears. I bought it on amazon: "Dual Pouch Underwear Micro Modal Trunks Separate Pouches". Going to try it until the moderate pain in scrotum/penis pain is better, and then back to comfortable boxers.

4) Still struggling with hard stools with a bit of bleeding. Passing stool daily so that's not the issue. Eating a diet great for constipation. Already using preparation H, so all I can do now is add in stool softeners and enemas. If that doesn't work, then it's time to see my primary or a gastro.
