For the last few months, my Trimix Ratio has been 30/1/10.
I ordered a refill and the doctor gave me 150/5/50 without me asking.
How much stronger is this than the previous ratio?
HELP.....NEW RATIO
Re: HELP.....NEW RATIO
seriously? I didn't know they mixed it that strong -- at least for humans! Never heard of anyone on this forum with a mix that strong.
Don't know what dose you should take but pretty dang low -- imho, you're messing with an explosive !

Please double check that you have the concentrations written down correctly, but if that is true the new dose is 5 times stronger. To get the same effect you would take 1/5 the volume. Example: if you have been taking 40units before of the 30/1/10 mix, now you would take 8 units of the new 150/5/50 mix.
If you were not expecting an increase in your concentration ask your doc for clarification.

Re: HELP.....NEW RATIO
Do you get 5 ml at a time? If the answer is yes then I'm going to guess they just wrote it differently. Instead of giving the strength as per ml, as is the most common method, they gave you a label representing the total 5 ml...so it lists it as 5 times the amount as it would be if listed per ml. Call the pharmacy and confirm before making any decisions based on my assumptions.

Re: HELP.....NEW RATIO
The last time I for 6 vials and they were .5ml each.
This time there is 1 huge vial that's 10 mils.

Re: HELP.....NEW RATIO
You got me on that one then. I'd call them up and ask what both the old mix and new mix are per ml. That's what you need to do. Plus you'll find out if someone just screwed up and made you the wrong mix.

Re: HELP.....NEW RATIO
I’m with bldoink on this one, doc just wrote it differently. He wrote what you need in each 5ml bottle instead of what you were getting in each one ml. Divide each ingredient by 5, it’s the same. Not to worry UNLESS the pharmacist didn’t realize this and actually put that much in each one ml. Then you need a new pharmacy
