LGX vs CX Implants

I'm scheduled for an implant in August. Not sure if I should go with the LGX or CX model. My doctor says the LGX is good for length and girth, but isn't as rigid as the CX model. Does anybody have experience with either model? Thanks!

I would say this about my Lgx, note this is based on only 2 weeks of cycling before getting shut down. I loved my Lgx it expands outward as well as up, I had more discomfort on sides then tip, I would leave up for 30 minutes at a time +/- depending on ouch. Hardness: I can’t imagine any one wanting “ harder” in fact many men on FT recommend not pumping all the way up for better sex. I wouldn’t know cuz I’m on side line till end of July. I sure hope I get to keep my Lgx.

It depends on what implant size you are going to get. Both LGX and CX have a max (standard) length of 21cm, with the CX has 24cm as a special order. I assume from that, if you need longer than 21cm (excluding rte's) then only CX is available for you.
Did your surgeon make measurements and recommended any model?

I had a CX for 9 years. I just had a revision a month ago and really like what I'm seeing out of the LGX.

I got the LGX in march and yes once you pump it up you'll be stiffer now than when you were with your first hard-on! It's an Amazing device. My advice is after you heal get some physical exercise! You'll see what I mean(LOL)

I had both! I had the LGX for 3 years and I currently have the CX. They are both good. The CX is more durable than the LGX. I’ve had women ask me what did I take. I tell them nothing. They don’t believe me. They want to know how I can go for hours. LOL! I tell them I don’t need a blow job either. I have them scratching and biting me during sex. They say I got a golden dick. An AMS representative told me he prefers the CX over the LGX because it is stiffer when inflated. What I have heard on FrankTalk is that the difference is marginal. As far as longevity is concerned, the weave of the LGX does flex more than the CX (it has to, in order to lengthen when you inflate it) That flexing may or may not contribute to a slightly shorter service life. But service life of the implant is only part of the longevity. The pump, the tubes are are also failure points.

Any extra rigidity of the CX or even the Coloplast Titan would be wasted.

My LGX pumps up to a greater rigidity than I have had since puberty, when morning wood would consistently prevent me from urinating until I dealt with it. My implant makes my penis unbendable.

I got a few images on this board. I was very afraid to get an implant in the beginning. I came to Frank Talk and did my research and they have created a Monster! LOL!
