Can focused shockwave therapy help with venous leakage?

Hi, I'm a fit and active 39-year-old and have had ED, since my mid-20s. I'm pretty certain that I have a venous leak, which a couple of urologists have also thought might be the case. I've not had a Doppler Ultrasound test done, as I've heard that the results aren't that reliable, that the results can yield false positives, and that there's actually no benchmark to measure things against. I'm all ears, so if anyone knows any different, please let me know.

My main question is that I could go down the route of shockwave therapy and I'm very tempted, but can it help with venous leakage?

I've had two Doppler ultrasounds that both indicated no venous leak. Interested to know more.

The shockwave therapy stimulates the blood vesel multiplicating it. The result is that the blood inflow increase.

Doppler ultrasounds are considered the best diagnostic tool for erectile dysfunction. I'm not saying they are perfect, but there must be a reason all the top sexual health urologists use them.

Shockwave, on the other hand, is highly speculative. Some people on this board say it has helped and others claim it has damaged them.

I have significant venous leak (as established by doppler ultrasound) and the only things that seemed to have helped me at all are periods of semen retention and switching from masturbating with my hands to masturbating with a vibrator on the glans and frenulum. If my penis continues to get a little stronger I will switch to a fleshlight with a lot of lube.

My experience is subjective

This is not entirely correct. If the treatment was to work (I am not saying it does) and the function of the corpus cavernosum is improved so that is its ability to expand fully increases to enable a better seal at the tunica, then outflow will be decreased to the point whereby a stronger erection occurs.
Improving arterial inflow can help the CC to expand at a faster rate. Some forms of CVOD are caused by arterial blockage or smooth muscle loss in these tissues.

Interesting, I've got a Pheonix Shockwave device, which I bought early on and got for a very good price, although I must admit that having used it a fair amount, I've not noticed any improvements. I did wonder whether professional equipment was more powerful than the Pheonix, despite the manufacturers of the Pheonix claiming that it has the 'same energy signature' as professional equipment, whatever that means!

Thanks, it does sound like a Doppler test might be worthwhile. How do you manage your venous leak during sex?
