Well guys finally I got some good news on this. My new insurance company DOES cover the surgery! We got all the paperwork sent in last week for the "Predetermination". I called today to check on it and was told it was approved yesterday and that the approval is good for six months. I'm supposed to get an approval letter in a day or two. I already called the Dr. office and told the surgery gal. She called me back a little bit ago and was hoping to do the surgery next Thursday, but I told her that I need to give my boss more notice than that, besides I have been on an antibiotic for over a week due to an upper respiratory tract infection. She is setting it up for March 7th unless she has a sooner cancellation.
Anyway, it was a long hard uphill battle, but finally I'm going to get my implant. I am very hopeful and excited.

Great news, Greg.
Glad to hear that the finance people finally came through. Take care of yourself before and after surgery and you should love the results. Welcome to the club and there are lots of us to offer advice, hopefully worth more than the price.

I know! I'm excited! I got the approval letter in the mail Friday, so now it is REALLY official. March 7th seems a long time away, but I know it really is not. I have to get my FMLA paperwork all taken care of anyway, so I can wait. It was the not knowing if it would ever happen. Waiting since last August, so another month is not a big deal now that I know it is going to happen.
