Difference between vials and dual chamber injections
Re: Difference between vials and dual chamber injections
Forgive me for being stupid, but what is a dual chamber injection?
It sounds like you would give yourself a shot on both sides of your pecker to get both corporeal bodies. My experience was that would be totally unnecessary not to mention after first injection, things start firming up rapidly so piercing it with the second shot is going to be difficult.
Now, if you meant using a preparation with two or more active ingredients, it would make sense to me. Like bimix or trimix. That would be the route I would go but that was based on experience. Using trimix, what I injected had a fairly low dose of prostaglandin E1 (the active ingredient in Caverject) and it all worked real well for years. When they tried me on Caverject alone I got a bad case of achy dick after every injection. I would do it, and it did work, but I would end up with a painful achy dick for several hours afterwards.
Master the injection process then work with your doctor to figure out which drug works best with the least side effects and hassle. Part of it depends on situation. I was married, sex was with wife in my own home, so keeping trimix in refrigerator was no problem. If I were a single guy, hooking up then going to some girl’s place, then the ability to have Caverject in the pre-loaded syringe with a little vial of sterile water might have been better, despite the achiness after the fact.

Re: Difference between vials and dual chamber injections
I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is at best based on my own experiences and hallucinations and or delusions at worst. Remember, internet forum advice is likely worth what you paid for it, or worse. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.
It was my understanding that Caverject is a dual chamber arrangement. Or maybe they offer both. I have no experience with Caverject but I do with Edex another dual chamber version.
With the dual chamber arrangements the active ingredient, alprostadil, is dry and in a separate chamber from the liquid carrier, the saline. You mix the two in the larger cartridge unit that contains both chambers, attach the needle and inject. The vial will probably contain a solution in which the alprostadil is already mixed with the saline. You draw up the desired dose with a syringe and inject.
Disadvantage with the dual chamber arrangements: You will waste what you don't use as they contain a predetermined amount of 10 or 20 mcg of alprostadil and are single use. So if, for example, you use 5mcg of alprostadil you will be discarding 5mcg every time. Another disadvantage is that prep takes a bit more time before use. Depending on your insurance you may find the dual chamber arrangements substantially more expensive.
Advantages with dual chamber arrangement: They are easy to travel with as they require no refrigeration. They also have a long shelf life and may even be viable long after their expiration date but check with your doctor or pharmacist on that one.
Advantages with pre-mixed vials: They are generally quicker to use at time of use. You only draw out of the vial the dose you need and the vial can have numerous doses drawn out of it so there is less waste. It may be much cheaper than the dual chamber arrangements. You also have more control of the injection with the pre-mixed vials and a normal syringe.
Disadvantages of pre-mixed vials: Refrigeration or freezing is required. Much shorter shelf life. Separate vial and syringes must be carried.
I prefer the pre-mixed vials as they are cheap and I can't afford the dual chamber cartridges. My insurance doesn't cover the injections and the pre-mixed vials are cheap enough that I don't care. I would like some of the dual chambered cartridges for travel.
You don't say where you are located. That information may be relevant.

Re: Difference between vials and dual chamber injections
Hey guys, thanks for your replys.
I am from Germany, we don't have Edex, Bi or Trimix here.
Viridal and Caverject are our options as much as i know. I don't know exactly what the reason is for my ED, normally i am too young for ED but i have had problems since my early 20s.. maybe psychogenic, VL, i really don't know. I went to two docs, one of em said i have a tiny tiny VL, the other one said that there is no VL..man i dont know maybe it's a mix of tiny VL and psychogenic (pressure anxiety etc.).
I took Cialis which worked well for couple if years than lost it's power. switched to 100 Viagra and i can fuck with it like a "normal guy" i think..but sometimes it just fails and i hate that. i am 38 and in perfect shape, i date, i fuck, a lot..always with pills. But after couple if fails, i ordered Caverject. It came as 10mg Dual Chamber injections.
I will try the first with 2.5Mg and will through the rest in the waste..i was never afraid of fighting my ED so no problem with injection..man i would even let a snake bite my cock if this woulf give me a boner to go to work
So dual chamber is propably better for dating, thats a big plus!!
Will update my journey.
Thanks alot guys!

Re: Difference between vials and dual chamber injections
Another question guys, is 2,5mg a good dose to start with? Not a fan of ER

I'm in no way qualified to give any medical advice on any subject. Ask your doctor. That's what they're there for.
Yeah, it's probably a safe starting place. Likely not enough to get the job done but probably a safe place to start.
Good luck.
