Got into pumping back when my penis worked normally. I was 38 at the time....Jan 2013....pumped for "PE" (Penis Enlargement) and gained 3/4" length (1/4" a month) for the first the months...then the growth just stopped. Pumped for a little over a year religiously....hoping to hit my goal of 9" of length....never got there. But that 1st 3 mos kept me motivated.
Pumped on and off for years since....sometimes taking a year off or more. But...I've always felt that pumping damaged my erectile tissue and may have caused my ED.
Anyone else have similar experiences or observations?
Do Any of You Pumpers Believe It Has Contributed To Your ED?
Re: Do Any of You Pumpers Believe It Has Contributed To Your ED?
I started pumping because I was a cheapskate and it was a way to stretch out (no pun intended) my viagra supply. I'm certainly no doctor but it seems to me if you haven't experienced edema or peronies you didn't break anything. Whether it hastens a venous leak is questionable. I'm not real sure where a venous leak occurs. I used some pretty tight bands.
53 years old, married 32 years. Decades of ED & PE. BPH. Tried Viagra W & W/O T-Shots, Levitra and Cialis, Edex, Trimix starter, medium, strong with poor results, VED. Implanted w/AMS700CX 21cm X 12mm w/1.5cm RTE by Dr. Leroy Jones 9/1/20

Plenty of edema over the years, plenty of ruptured blood vessels (red dots)..a few water blisters on the head even. Got edema pretty much every time I pumped. My dick has been pretty much permanently darkened in color. It was a deep purple much of the time when I was regularly pumping too.

Most, if not all, of the injuries from pumping that I have read about over the years seemed to result from guys trying to increase their dick size.
I didn't seriously get into pumping until ED was a factor in our sex life. I pump for 2 reasons. 1. Use a VED and ring(s) for sex. 2. Exercises to keep blood flowing to penile tissues that because of ED may not be getting enough oxygen.
So no. Pumping has enhanced our sex life and enabled us to have fulfilling sex into our upper 70's.

Married 50+ years. Use VED for sex and do
daily exercises with both water and vacuum pumps.

I'd agree with that....it's the abuse of the VEDs that seem to cause problems....as is my case.

To what extent have most of you guys pumped?
Wondering if guys using it solely for obtaining erections simply pump it up to a certain vacuum pressure, then leave it for a set amount of time (a few to 5 minutes). Do you put the erection ring on BEFORE pumping or after?
I've pumped to 10 inches of Mercury (10" of Hg) for 12-20 minutes for up to 3 sets with rest breaks of roughly 10 minutes between each set in a 2.5" diameter x 10" long cylinder. I was packing that cylinder about 3/4ths up the shaft with only a narrow 3/4" band under the head that wasn't touching the sides of the tube all the way around after 3 sets; sometimes after the 2nd and was around 8 5/8" in length in the tube.
The result was usually girth (once removed from the cylinder) of around 7.5" circumference due to the edema and would slowly deflate over a period as long as 24 hours. My flaccid length after one of these sessions would stay in the 6.5-7.25" range for several hours and would slowly return to my normal flaccid hang over the next 8-24 hours. The very large doughnut formed in the foreskin below my head was quite large as well for the next 8-24 hours.
Anyone else have similar experience with more 'extreme' pumping regiments? Curious if those going to this extreme think it contributed to their ED.

I just want to say that in my opinion you are over doing the pumping and risking some serious damage. Blisters and edema are pretty much warning signs that you should ease up.
As far as the routine I had for pumping for intercourse I'd pump up then slip on the ring, pump up again. Eventually I had to resort to a 2nd band. When 2 bands started failing it was time for an implant.

Sorry...wasn't clear. I'm not pumping to that degree anymore.

Re: Do Any of You Pumpers Believe It Has Contributed To Your ED?
I started pumping about 15 years ago when PDE5s stopped being effective. Accordingly, I didn’t start pumping until after my ED became quite severe so I can’t comment based on personal experience. However, I did read somewhere that when you pump you are drawing 65% of the blood into the penile chambers from the incoming arteries and 45% of the blood back from the veins. I have always wondered if reversing the blood flow back through the exiting veins could cause these veins to be weakened and thus reduce their ability to block the outflow of blood.
Just a thought and not based on any evidence.
