Ejaculation Delay

Postby antelope » Sat Nov 20, 2010 11:26 pm

Hey guys,

I've read a few posts about delayed ejaculations resulting from cock rings, but what about just plain old delayed ejaculations? Since starting the injections, I've got the wood, but it's taking a lot longer to cum than before the ED issues started 3 to 5 years ago. I guess I'm not complaining, but 30 minutes of hard thrusting is not quite as much fun as it sounds for either of us. Could it be too much porn and masturbation over the last 3 years with those semi-soft erections? I'm being honest here. I'd rather be making sweet love for a couple of hours with cuddle breaks between orgasms. Anybody else deal with this?

This is not an uncommon problem. As we age things that happend to years ago can cause delayed ejaculation.

Some of the things are: Back problems, the nerves in your back may have been damaged from heavy lifting and/or back surgery. Prostate problems anything from simple BPH to PCa. Blood problems, I don't know the term it is thick blood and/or blood with too much iron. (A simple way to find out if this is a problem is try and give blood.) Blood Pressure and other meds. Anxiety and antidepressant meds. Just simply not getting enough blood flow to the glans, the glans needs a lot of blood for the nerves to respond properly. Lung problems with lack of sufficient oxygen at night. Sleep Apenea.

These are only a few reasons: I have talked with many doctors and none have a solution. I asked my back doctor about it and he offered to do a nerve test. I asked if he found a problem could he correct it and his answer was probably not, so I choose not to have it done.

How to deal with it. A very helpful wife and lots of foreplay. Look for stimulation points on your body you many have not known. Neck, ears, nipples, testicles for example. Make the exploration fun. Remember the old expression, "kiss my grits" well the fun part is finding the grits. :D

Hope it helps to know you are not alone. I chat with many men that have the same problem.

Greg,
While there can be almost no such thing as too much masturbation, too rough masturbation is very possible. The fact that you mentioned it makes me wonder what your JO technique is. You absolutely can desensitize the nerves in your penis with rough handling. It also depends just how much porn you've been watching. A bit of porn to help with the daily wank is no big deal, but if it becomes a major source of stimulation for you, and you find yourself not as aroused with your partner as you used to be, you might give it a rest for a while. Also, always use lubrication to masturbate. Coconut oil is spectacular and easy to clean up and good for you. You might invest in a Fleshlight or one of the other realistic masturbation sleeves. Practice keeping sensations light, delicate and see if that helps.
Orgasms truly do start in the brain - there is no set physical equation that causes them. we do tell ourselves to orgasm and ejaculate. This is why some people can orgasm over such widely diverse stimulations - nipples, feet, - or even nothing but concentration. So, see if there is some anxiety holding you back, too much worry about orgasming for example.

I would see your doctor, however, before you start any drastic changes. Rule out causes such as medications first. These are the most common reasons for DO if it is fairly new. They have a whole gamut of tests to help figure it out. If they come up with nothing, there are other things you can try. Many sex therapists would have you stop attempting to orgasm during intercourse (and stop masturbating completely) and let yourself become more aroused over the course of several days. Attempt intercourse as much as you want, but see if the orgasm will return if there is no other outlet. Don't give up. Try out any and all of Jack's or these suggestions.

Thanks guys. These are good suggestions. Best of all, it's good to know I'm not the only one.
