Re: Tri Mix Gel
Thomas, My Uro told me if MUSE did not work that the Tri Mix Gel would be a waste of $. So he did not fill in the script. I moved from MUSE to injections.
So far pleased with the prick to the D ick.

Re: Tri Mix Gel
Thomas, I tried Trimix Gel earlier this year - it's easy to use and worked better than the pills but nothing 'useable' - worst was the price since not covered by my insurance. Definitely give it a try if you can afford. I've moved on to injections - work better and cost is much better as well.

Thomas:
I am very interested in any information you get in answer to this question. The great advantage, I see to the gel, is that it does not have to, as I understand, be refrigerated. That is an advantage to those of us who travel.
I am also interested in how they decide dose and can a "customer" purchase one or two vials to see if it works rather than a 6 pac as with Muse(nasty stuff in my opinion). Also, since it is un-mixed is the shelf life a long time frame?
Please keep us posted if you decide to pursue this venture. Thanks.
Regards,
Dick

Re: Tri Mix Gel
First a little background.
I have very good response to Viagra and Cialis, but there are just some times that neither of them will do the trick. Remember those after dinner sexual encounters you use to have? Dare I mention "drunk sex" ? Well I miss them and wanted to see if I can add a tool to my toolbox that would work in those situations.
So, I saw my Urologist today and he wrote me the perscription for Trimix Gel. When you download the form from the site (see the treatments link on FT), it gives the doctor four options, three with different doses, and then an option for him to fill in his own mix. Because I have such good response with Viagra, he suggested the low dose to start with. He also made a good observation that I can start with half a dose at first (I can always add more if I don't think it's working) and find out what's right for me.
So I took the perscription home, attached it to the form and faxed it to the listed Pharmacy. Nope, the doctor's office is suppose to fax it over. Crap, I cannot get back there, so I had to mail it in.
Stay tuned and I'll let you know when I get it, how it works, and any other questions you might have.

Re: Tri Mix Gel
Received Tri Mix this week and tried it.
1) There are four dose options, three suggested (low, med, and high), and then an option for your doctor to perscribe his own dosage.
2) It states in should be kept at room temp in a dry place (not in bathroom). Shelf life is three months
3) Cost was $146 including UPS Ground shipping: NOTE: my employer has a Healthcare Savings Account (HSA) that I plan to submit this to, so that will help with the cost.
4) I tried it:
6:15 AM Injected - pretty easy - watched the video once or twice first
6:20 nothing yet. I little leaked out after I let go of the penis opening, but very little.
6:25 nothing yet. BTW, zero pain (unlike my attempt with Muse after the RP)
6:30 nothing yet. Mmm, is this going to work?
6:35 some filling has started
6:40 a little more, but nothing usable
6:45 well, half hour and nothing usable. OK for a masturbation session, but couldn't penetrate
6:55 I guess this first try isn't going to work. But I have 5 more so I'll let you know if future attemps yeild better results.

Re: Tri Mix Gel
I am curious if you are doing or have done kegels on a regular basis?
Do you have and use a pump to keep penis tissue in good condition?
Are you expecting either the mix or a pill to do all of the work? Is that realistic?

Re: Tri Mix Gel
Interestingly, none of my docs mentioned MUSE or gel or anything like that. I went straight to injections after various pill combos didn't work satisfactorily. So far, the injections are definitely the quicker pecker picker upper. My litle man is very pleased with himself.

Re: Tri Mix Gel
Antelope, I think your Dr saved you seom bucks. If you want to try Muse..I have some you are welcome to.. I will never and I do mean never put that in my penis again. That was so painful for me. I figured that the first time I must have done something wrong. So I went over the insturctions again and gave it another try a week later. Pain was greater than the first time and to top that off I did not get wood. I guess if I had a little fun to off set the pain but no go.
Dr said if Muse did not work Tri Gel would be useless for me.
For me Injections are the way to fly.

Re: Tri Mix Gel
Jim,
I actually have good response to Viagra and Cialis which keeps my little buddy very healthy. I was hoping the TriMix Gel would be another tool in my "toybox" for those times the meds do not work. Mainly the romantic dinners and after dinner activity is where the meds fail me (meds work best for me in the AM before I eat), and I hoped the TriMix Gel would be the solution to those occasions. It was certainly was worth the try!
