Hi folks, Ian here.
Background.
56 year old gay man, been with the same partner for 23 years and married to him for about 11 (I'm terrible with anniversaries and birthdays).
I split my time between where we live in Gainsborough, England and where i work in Glasgow, Scotland.
It is in Glasgow that most of the following occurs.
I started a couple of years ago with Peyronies. Such a little lump in your most precious of places.
The end result was an erect penis, bent to an angle of 90°
Thinking back, it was amazing what i could do with that bent prick and my man wasn't safe even when he hid round a corner.
I had the op. Can't say it was bad and no pain involved apart from ED.
Tried pills. Didn't work. Tried better pills and got headaches. Stopped the pills.
Got back in touch with my surgeon again and he suggested a new implant that could increase length and girth.
Sign me up please.
Operation #1
A Rigicon 10 AX implant, with 110ml reservoir and 22cm inflatable cylinders was installed. I also like to think it has go-faster stripes, heated seats and a spoiler.
No pain involved.
After the initial recovery period i got the go ahead to start cycling.
Didn't get to do much of that before it stopped working as it was impossible to squeeze the bulb after a while.
Back to the surgeon and I got accused of having a wank in the recovery period.
Who me sir? Surely not sir!
To tell the truth i don't think i did.
Operation #2
The reservoir had become loose from the bulb section, so the reservoir was replaced.
Another recovery period then back to the surgeon. Given the all clear to start cycling again.
My first proper cycle (ever) got me to 5", and solid as a rock. No pain at all so i knew i could go further. I couldn't.
Deflated and tried again. After two or three squeezes of the bulb it stayed crushed and wouldn't go back to being able to be squeezed again. Ffs. Pressed the release button and, pop, it went back to being usable. Two or three squeezes and it stayed squashed.
Hope to see the surgeon again next week.
My surgeon is one of the best in the UK and i wouldn't dream of changing to someone else. That man knows my scrotum better than anyone on the planet, plus he's now motivated to do everything possible to get this working.
I'll keep you updated.

Welcome to the forum, Ian.
It's been a tough road for you, but you're going to get there. I'm sure many of the experienced members here will chime in with advice and support.
Interesting that you have a new implant model that I don't think I have heard of before, very cool.
I wonder if anyone else here has that model.

Yes, welcome to the forum, Ian/Stobhill.
As I understand it, the Rigicon inflatable is not approved in the U.S. by the FDA. FrankTalk has members over most of the world, so there are a few, and more as Rigicon gets more well known. I believe the inflatable is fairly new on the market. (I may be wrong, though)
I wondered at this line:

Is there something about Scotland to which your penis disagrees? Maybe if you went further South, to Wales perhaps, you could effect a reversal?

Hi lost sheep.
I was in Wales last week. It was my sister's birthday and she lives in Llandudno.
Didn't work there either.

Hi LeRoastBeef,
From what I've read, my new gizmo is not approved in the US, but is widely used in India.
My surgeon told me that he installed one of these in some one else the same day as mine.
When he said this to me it hurt. He said the other guy had a BIG penis.
For a dick doctor to say someone had huge knob, it must have been massive.
I'm going to ask how he got one since he's the only other one i know of.

Damn it, I’ve had my implant 1 week and I already have buyers remorse. Racing stripes? Heated seats?? Sport suspension and I might have to do a return.

Schmidt,
Please fill out your signature block so we know what kind of implant you have, for future reference.
So, you also have a Rigicon?
Where are you from, who was your Dr., blah, blah, blah.
Stobhill, am I to understand you have had more than 3 surgeries for different issues? Did he take out the original implant each time?
I, myself, have had 3 surgeries in less than a year. Each time, the 'old' pump was taken out and replaced.
