Hello! I am a 48 yr old Type 1 diabetic with all the complications that come with it. High blood pressure, High Cholesterol, Bad Thyroid, Neuropathy, amputations, glaucoma, and now ED. I actually started the ED six years ago. I wasn't sure at the time if I had ED or just a lack of desire for my ex-wife. Long story short I recently married a wonderful, supportive woman that appeals to me in every way. I have tried Cialis, Viagra, Muse, and am on my way to injections or penal implant. It was scary to insert the Muse but I got it done. Only thing is it turned little me red and thicker but not hard enough. I hate needles and am very hesitant about injections. Does the fear of injections take away from the sexual drive? I really want to be able to perform and satisfy my new wife.

The prick of the needle is very modest, you hardly notice it. The first time is a little ticklish, you learn fast. If your bride will do it for you I think that is nice, she will be at an angle and position to do it easily, mine won't do it. Don't get uptight about this, it's a piece of cake for most guys. Welcome here.

For me, just knowing that I could get a real erection and satisfy my fiancee' eliminated my anxiety..... The best needle you are probably already familiar with- 31g 5/16....is very small and makes it much easier for the little stick...

Injections can work very well. Eleven years till they quit for me, then on to the implant that works well. Try the injections first, if they work they are no problem, with a fine needle and good technique all you feel is a little fluid going into the cavernosa then a nice big HARD erection for a couple of hours. When you cum it keeps on going.

Thanks for your input. I went to the Urologist and he helped me with my first shot. Immediately there was a response but not as large as we had hoped. He scheduled me to come back for another larger dose. This time I was supposed to give the shot. I had it all ready. I lined it up correctly suddenly the doctor started pushing on the syringe as I was trying to put it in. The shot went in but pointed down a little. It would have been fine had he not of been in such a hurry. The dose was increased from 10 to 12.5 with no noticeable improvement. My new bride and I wanted to utilize mini-me this weekend. He wouldn't give me anything. Therefore I have to wait until Tuesday morning to try again. It is very frustrating for my wife and I. The initial results would penetrate her. But, we have to wait. We both are so sexually frustrated. He won't let me do it on my own yet. I told him my wife could give the shot. He would have to train my wife. He said my technique has to improved before he prescribes it. Ugh. I am supposed to shave my pubic hair and get a mirror. Why didn't he tell me that the last time? OF course I was a little unsure, this was the first time I have ever brought something so sharp so close to my mini-me!

Wow !!! jLW1964 - Your Uro seems a little unreasonable....that really is to bad he is being so picky with this. Most of the time, it seems that the Uro is way to lax.....or in your case is way to conservative.....

Most of us are given the prescription, given instructions and away you go.....

Hang in there.....it will be worth it when you get everything dialed in....

Believe me !!!! a 2 hr hard on I am sure will solve all of your frustrations.....!!! for both you and your wife...
