Injections after Prostate surgery
Injections after Prostate surgery
I had radical prostatectomy on 8.19. I am very unhappy with my size after surgery. I’m interested to know how long others have waited before using injections?

Re: Injections after Prostate surgery
Hi
It’s been a while , but the URO first injected me about 2 months after surgery and it hurt like hell, then I did it there after. Unfortunately the size loss both from personal experience and what I have heard from others is that the reduction in size is permanent. The issue now is to maintain what you have with VED, pills injection.

Like I said, be patient. Listen to your doctor. You can gain some length back after the RP. It will take time and again...Patience. I believe your initial loss is largely determined by how large your prostate was pre-surgery. A larger prostate results in more initial loss of urethra. I can't say for certain what my length loss is after all this time. I never measured before surgery and only measured after surgery when I joined this forum with all of the guys so length obsessed.
I agree, 2 months seems reasonable.

I waited too long after RP surgery before injecting (six months). I was one of the naïve guys who felt erections would return without PDEs, VEDs, etc.
I took (and continue to take) a 20mg sildenafil tablet to maintain penile tissue. I became quite frustrated with the pump and did not get the intended result from taking 100mg of sildenafil. I longed (pardon the pun) for a solid erection which would allow for vaginal intercourse with my wife. Voila, trimix is a mental health and man-saving solution. I have injected about twice a week since June 2019.
As far as length and girth, I feel I may have lost a half-inch in length, but gained the same amount in girth. I believe in daily stretching and massaging of the penis. Work with it manually, get the blood flow going -- you won't get hard but you will see it grow and it still feels very good to be touched and caressed.
