Haha you were mostly correct. Dr Hakky had to cut through scar tissues to get there and said a lot of other physicians are afraid to do that too close to the urethra. I'll get more info from him later. I think he said he used a 8 dilator.

That is very interesting, is that what caused the previous implant to be lateral on one side?

I noted in Merrix journal, Dr Eid was concerned about a possible pre-existing pyronies condition causing scaring problems and spent time in surgery with the dilator.
45yo, venous leak. Pills increased tinnitus (very rare). Using bimix+atropine, 0.2 of:

Likely, Hakky said he would just cut a new tunnel. Right now I don't seem to have that issue anymore but I am still mummy wrapped so hard to tell.

wow! That is a big jump, so he must have seen something else...like more room!
Yes, when the time comes for pumping, you will feel the stretch!
Do not be afraid of it, as it is progress:), but don't be 'macho' about it, or it will put you back in the hospital for a different reason.
I am sure you know this, but just follow what Hakky says, and tell him what is happening (where is Hakky located because he is my next Dr. since I was robbed...and I got proof!)
Dr. had me pumping for 10 min., 2x a day. When you are working, its kinda hard (no pun), but compromised and did the 30 min., lol.
Best wishes on your recovery. Pretty sure this is what you want, but just don't go overboard!

Dr Hakky is in Atlanta.

I have a date with this news reporter that is maybe the prettiest girl I've ever been on a date with. This is in 10 days. I am hoping to be able to do some light action if needed by then, but realize that would be insane. She is moving to a new city in January so I only have so much time.

I think is really very valuable content for the forum because it highlights good questions to ask surgeons regarding technique, risks and experience.

I spoke with Hakky today. He said that there wasn't any extra scar tissue and all he had to do was extra dilation in the glans. He said that the 26 is actually a 2XL and not just a XL. Today is day 2 and I feel like I could easily go back to work, but Hakky said to take it easy. I feel so good because he uses lidocain to make all the areas he cuts into not hurt. My glans is very small when not engorged, so he said I may have some uneven-ness with the tips in there when flaccid due to how big the tips of the 26cm are compared to how small my glans is. Doesn't seem to be an issue so far though.

10 days till I can cycle.
3-4 weeks till I can have light sex.

Hakky believes that Tatem shorted me for 2 reasons.
(1) The opening of my urethra is not at the very tips of my glans, its almost to the underside. Basically when I piss, it comes out the bottom of my "slit" and not the tip of it. Hakky said that most implanters bend the glans down when they clasp the urethra for safety. Doing this for me, due to the nature of my urethra, does not allow dilation all the way into my glans. What Hakky did (or does) when he grasps the urethra is he bends it up instead of down. This allows him to see get dilation all the way up without injuring the urethra.
(2) Tatem does primarily infrapubic IPPs, whereas Hakky does peno-scrotal. Peno-scrotal is well documented to allow maximum implantation compared to IPP. Hakky said by doing PS he was able to see first hand view all the way up along the urethra, wheras Tatem's view would have been blinded by the nature that he was going in from the top (infrapubic) and not the bottom (peno-scrotal).

Hakky is an amazing surgeon and I am glad I used him.

Here is an example of the the urethra "stricture"/hyopspadosis that I have. Notice the opening of the urethra is low and not at the very tip.

Hey man,

Hope it all turns out okay.

May I ask how you went from being 6.9 pre op to 5-5.5? That’s a substantial loss of length.
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

I was just implanted with a smaller implant than I needed. Even with the implant fully inflated, I could pull/stretch my penis out another inch so that the top 1.5 inches of my penis had no implant in it.
