Online Prescription??
I've been on trimix injections for years, and they are great. I recently ran out, and my urologist can't see me until January. Is it possible to get a prescription from a doctor online, or do you think my primary care physician can prescribe this for me? The thought of not being able to have my trimix prescription until after the new year is very upsetting. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Re: Online Prescription??
I just message my Urologist for a renewal. He then calls it in. Simple as that

I tries that first.. He won't send my prescription to the pharmacy until he's seen me again. But can't see me until January. It is so infuriating that my urologist is making me wait that long for a prescription.

You can do an online consultation plus prescription fulfillment but it’s a pricey way to go.
69 yrs old with ED for 7 years. Taking Testosterone 5 years.
Tadalafil (Cialis) stopped working after 4 years.
Started Trimix 11/2020 Too strong. Moved to Bimix. (Pap 30/Phe 1) Works Great!

Actually, it very much depends on his age. In my case at my age of 64, with my $6,000 deductible health insurance, paying a urologist for a visit, a "workup", test injection, and finally, a script would have cost an arm and a leg. I opted to pay Olympia $260 for a Telemed, a 10ml vial of trimix, and a 5ml vial of antidote. For me, hundreds cheaper if not more.
I see by your signature, that you are a tad older, in your case, Medicare is far cheaper. That is if your local urologist is as accommodating as my Telemed friends.
64 years old. Had a heart attack with two stents placed at 46, atrial fibrillation surgery at 54 years. Doing great now, lost 45lbs on KETO, ED under control with tri-mix, 5mg daily Cialis, and arginine/citrulline 2x a day. And morning wood is back!

I actually did the Telemedicine route too. Didn’t want to get a boner in the docs office during early Covid.
I like the ease and privacy of telemedicine , but balk at the refill pricing.

Your pharmacist might be able to suggest a way to have your G.P. write a prescription. Mine is good at pulling strings. Failing that, abhishek26 is right, find a new urologist. With in-person doctor visits down due to the virus, you might be able to get in soon.
Age 79 in 2024. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.

My GP or PCP if you prefer has been writing my scripts for years. Actually I'm on my 3rd GP writing my script now. The first moved due to family issues. The second went and died on me. Now I'm on my third although the third is actually a PA or NP, I'm not sure which.
Not all will write for you. You need to talk to them with confidence and know what you're talking about. Be respectful, not demanding. I had to educate all three. Most aren't knowledgeable on dick sticking drugs. Explain that you've been using it for years without issue and you're unable to get in to the urologist. Also explain that you have no other urological issues you need a specialist for. I got my first GP to write for me when my urologist retired and went off to teach. I finally got another urologist and he initially would write only for tri-mix and only to a specific pharmacy. I explained that to my GP and he had no problem writing scripts for me. My urologist has since (as of my last visit) changed his mind and agreed to write scripts for my mono-mix to the pharmacy of my choice. I haven't asked him to do so yet as my GP/PCP is doing just fine.
Good luck.
