Trimex and Psychogenic ED

Postby qcswral » Fri Feb 22, 2013 3:19 pm

Does anyone know if Trimex will help with psychogenic ED?? I have just developed this over the past 3 months and can't seem to get past it with my usual Viagra dose, etc..sometimes Cialis..I am single, have had 1 regular partner but since the first few times I could not get an erection enough for intercourse, everytime I am expecting am encounter with her...the feelings of dreaded fear of what "Might" happen out way the excitement of having sex....I am considering after talking with a sex therapist trying injections to get over the hump..sort a speak...but I have read that even Trimex cannot fully overcome anxiety...Does anyone have any experience with anxiety and the use of Trimex? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes. Trimix can restore your confidence in getting an erection. What’s the difference? Pills make conditions favorable in order for you to get an erection. Whereas Trimix makes you have an erection.

Basically here’s what is happening to you. Your anxiety creates adrenaline and adrenaline interferes with your ability to get and/or keep an erection.

You might also try some solo work, to prove to yourself you can still get it up.

Good luck -- Tigerfan

I do find that my mood can affect whether or not I have a successful injection. Seems like if I am in a rush, or feel anxious about getting it done that I don't get that great a erection out of it.

Have taken to making it more of a relaxing ritual = no rushing, do some nice relaxing deep breathing, review the tips JimStars gave me here for successful injections.

Sorry to hear you are having a tough time, but unfortunately not a hard time, with your injects.

As one of the 100-100 Club ( 100% erections 100% of the time) - but with Trimix not Bimix here are things that I do and observations.

1: I don't JAB the needle in in one swift stroke. I nudge it in. Maybe no difference but hey, you can't argue with 100-100.
2: At point of deepest insertion, when pressing on the plunger it should not take any more pressure than if you were injecting 'into the air'. Maybe try injecting some water 'into the air' to get a feel for how much pressing it takes. If it is hard to press, it means you are not in the CorpusC and if not there, No Joy for Willie.
3: I don't hold stretched penis straight out, I do out and fold over sideways on pubic bone. (But I have no fat pad down there so I dunno if it would work well if you did have one --or if you gotta turtle that doesn't want to come out for that needle. Foldover gives you a better view and a better Work Surface since it is braced against your body.
4: Sometimes just standing around waiting for it to get hard may not be the best. I notice that when you get horizontal in bed and on your side it really hardens up. Even better is if your wife gives it some help in that position (or any position really) -- even just squeezing at the base -- no need to massage.
Almost always we spend 5 or 10 minutes or even way longer with her doing squeeze and whatever. Also I use Coconut oil as a lub during this activity -- smells great, works great-- tastes great and you can even fry some chicken on the nightstand with it -- so versatile!
5: AFter injecting I never massage it in .. I just clench-squeeze at the base with thumb and finger (like a cockring) as if trying to hold in the Mix and maybe do some waggling. Massage is probably ok i just leave that for The Missus.
6: Maybe just a preference but I almost always inject early in the morning (but not too early- do not want to wake the sleeping dragonlady too early!!). Yeah you might be toting a hard one to work, but probably not. Doing in morning depends on if you and missus can be morning people or not.

That's all I can think of ... and yes it is a good idea to try-before-you-fly with your wife to get the dose right. As with any erection, there's lots you can do with it -- not just straight intercourse so maybe mix it up? BJ .. HJ .. just hold-and-squeezing -- lots -- and you can always make more.

qcswral:

Been thinking about your situation, there was a blog on the internet a while ago about various sex issues. No longer on the net,but I kept a copy of what he said about PERFORMANCE ANXIETY:

=======

The next issue is performance anxiety. I always had issues with being 'the best'. I'd rather avoid sex than be known as someone who was sexually incompetent. This was a vicious cycle, because going through a phase of sexual incompetence is a necessary step in becoming sexually confident.

At 17, when I tried to have sex for the first time I didn't actually lose my virginity - I was so nervous I didn't erect. I was humiliated. I didn't try again until I was 18. At this point, I was so focused on pleasing the woman, and not letting myself down, my own pleasure became completely irrelevant. I didn't have sex for pleasure, but for experience. Just so I didn't feel like a chump. I found that the motions were enough to keep me erect, but never did I feel close to orgasm, never did I enter that state of mind. In fact, since I was so wrapped up in my own performance and had underlying anxiety, there was no way I could reach orgasm in a mutual sexual situation - even with my own hand.

Since learning to cum from the fleshlight, and subsequently with women I now go into sex with orgasm in mind...as any normal person would :) . I'm selfish. I don't mind if I don't conform to the unrealistic standards I set for myself. I just do whatever feels good. While I had a very strong ego before, and would worry about messing up, now I just aim for pleasure. Which leads on to the next point...

Lack of arousal. This is a tough one. During sex, the motion was enough, even thought it felt awkward, to keep me erect. The penis, however remained numb. This is where a change in attitude comes in. When I'm with a girl, I'm generally thinking about what feels good for me. I don't mind if massaging her ass during making out may seem poor form. I don't care if stroking my own penis may seem poor form. It gets me aroused, so I do it. You have to be selfish, simple as that....ad you have to try and get to that 'false point of no return'

====================

Hope that helps, helped me when I had a bout with Performance Anxiety.

None of my business really but I don't think you should get involved with injectable ED meds unless you absolutely need them. For one thing, there was a huge learning curve for me until I could get a good injection. For another thing I think it would be very very easy to get psychologically addicted to Tri-mix.

So do what you can to work thru the performance anxiety before you take desperate measures. Did you talk to your girl about what is going on? That might take a lot of stress off of you it you do.

I all hear what you're saying...some of the guys on this forum make it sound like the erections you get from injections is just like automatic..others seem to say it still depends on your anxiety level, etc..I can only think it depends on the dose??....Some of the other discussion forums have guys saying the injections are practically fool proof...I guess I'm looking for an easy quick fix..but who wouldn't...I have been doing the deep breathing and it does help....sometimes I can get rock hard by myself ....with Cialis 5mgs...but then I do some imagery of my partner being with me....and the anxiety just floods in......I agree, I think injections are a bit drastic....the problem also is it seems a great many guys on this forum are involved in stable, caring supportive relationships...I'm in my late 50's divorced, out there dating etc....some woman don't want to stick around to see if you get you're act together..granted that's not the woman I or you would want to be with...but after all you're starting out getting comfortable with each other...That's hard ( no pun intended) enough without this bullsh-t of ed...I have an appt. for a second opinion on Tues...the first Uro guy thinks I'm out of mind for just considering injections.....and he doesn't offer them..not FDA approved, blah,blah,blah..I'll keep you all posted...Thanks for your comments

Just keeping you guys who were very supportive an update.....I had success this week with a combination of Cialis and Viagra...very good results I may add...that along with doing deep breathing exercises on a daily basis.....so I canceled my appt. with a doc to get a second opinion....and one who prescribes Trimex......If I can continue to use the meds all well in good....
Thanks for all your support.

Great news, thanks for the update. Curious, what kind of combo dose did you use of Cialis and Viagra?

Yeah, tri-mix is indeed like rocket fuel but it took a long while for me to get down my injection technique.

To answer your question about dosage...the Doc has me on 5mgs of Cialis...about an hour before I took 100mgs of Viagra ( Doc said I could do that)....It's so weird..I was so friggin anxious...but it didn't seem to matter...I was bulging out of pants....and it felt great...next thing you know we're doing it on the couch like 2 teenagers......I still don't get it all..then just recently she had her period so we said OK lets just play...I did get an erection enough for some nice oral by her....but I could feel myself getting a little soft....but still erect...I decided to ejaculate rather than loose the erection.....and I wasn't half as anxious as the week before....go figure...I'm still contemplating a second opinion...sort having an injection in a "fire box" with the words over.."Break glass only in an emergency"...it might put my mind at ease just knowing it's there in case I want to use it...
