After a few dry runs, my first experience with my new VED was successful and I was able to achieve an approximately 75% hard erection which allowed for penetration with my wife. Does anyone have any additional suggestions or pointers for getting that last 25%? Trimix is off the table after I developed Peyronie's from the injections and I refuse to revisit that option. Also, (counterintuitivel), I am able to become more engorged and develop a harder cock by using my VED while laying on my back and simultaneously viewing porn. Is there an optimal position to used one's device? Lastly, if I had this much success with my maiden voyage and am able to, very occasionally, get a full boner, what are my chances of avoiding implantation??

If you haven't tried it yet try taking a PDE5 pill an hour before pumping.

Visual and physical stimulation makes my pumping results a lot better. Does your wife help you pump? If not, get her to join in. In between cycles and I'm assuming you use cycles rather than trying to pump up all at once, let your wife suck, lick or play with your balls, or whatever helps, etc. While pumping she can give encouragement and be your cheerleader, give a strip show, etc. You get the idea. You two can use your imaginations.

I have no idea how this would affect your chances of an implant.

Do you get fully stiff under vacuum and go to 75% after applying the ring and releasing the vacuum? If so you may need a different ring or even 2 rings. More dry runs and experimenting will help.

Depending on the length of time you have experienced ed, you may want to incorporate daily penis exercises into your daily routine. In fact it would be a good practice to start them and continue for about 6 or so months and see if you have any improvements.

Thank you both for your replies. 75% was the hardest that I could achieve using the VED the first time (standing). At the time, I got mostly hard and then deployed 2 smallish rings and was able to keep the semi erection for penetrative sex. Since then, I have experimented and had a much better (harder) erection by laying on my back and using the VED while being visually stimulated (viewing porn). An unrelated question, how likely is it that I can correct my small degree of Peyronie's resulting from Trimix injections, by using daily VED and penile traction?

Are you deploying the rings off of the cylinder while still under vacuum?

I have no knowledge or experience correcting Peyronie's.

You should be able to get pretty much fully hard with the pump. Maintaining the hardness with the rings is usually the more common problem and that's a matter of finding the right ring or ring combination. That's trial and error unfortunately.

I'll reiterate, don't try to pump all at once. Pump up, hold for a bit, release, pause. Pump up a little harder, hold for a bit, release, pause. Pump up even a bit harder, hold, ... well you get the idea. Repeat until you get fully hard. Again, a PDE5 pill will make pumping easier, at least it does for me. Also, did you try getting your wife involved in the pumping, for both cheerleading and stimulation?

Those suggestions are based on my own experiences and may not be valid for everyone.

There's a few guys on here much more experienced and successful with pumps and rings for sex.

In the beginning, I had to remain under vacuum for about five minutes in order to generate a hard erection. Over time, the rings I was using did not have enough tension so I switched to Osbon rings which still maintain a hard erection.

That's still the case for me. The time has been reduced after many years of pumping.

On our sex days I take a 20mg generic sildenafil tab about an hour or so before, When I pump I count 25 pumps then hold for at least a 20 count. Without releasing vacuum I pump for another 25 and hold for another 20. Then I release the vacuum and repeat the process. Usually the 2nd time through is sufficient, but on rare occasions I do it a 3rd time. I use a penile foam tube and 2 Osbon rings, This results in an erection that could be used to hammer nails.
