I just tried Viagra for the first time, it worked well. Does this mean there is no venous leak or any other physical problem?
Thanks
If Viagra works for me, does that mean there is no physical problem?

30 years old, had ED and PE for as long as I can remember. Lost many chances at relationships. Finally getting help. Awaiting appointment with urologist after penile Doppler ultrasound. Hope to get an implant eventually to solve both my issues.

What was the strength and how long did your erection last? My thought is if you've got to use Viagra its already started with the ED thing.

My knee jerk is you're simplifying a bit. I think you can have venous leak (which is not a great term, catchy as it sounds) and still have successful erections, even w/o the drugs. But then you get into how successful, for how long, etc. If viagra works, it's overcoming a "physical problem" where the vessels weren't dilating enough on their own to engorge. So maybe you need to clarify what you're asking and why...
ED since mid '20, with slight Peyronies. Thus begins a search for the right solution(s); 56yo a/o Sep '21. Three months into my quest (12/21), I think PT-141, Cialis/tadalafil 20mg and L-Arginine (maybe other herbs) are a winning formula. For now.

If you need oral medication to successfully get and maintain an erection, then you do have either a small venous leak and/or blockage in the arteries of the penis. The medication is just helping you overcome the physical problem/s. Unfortunately, it will slowly get worse.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

I agree with BrokenPiston. ED is a complex, multifactorial condition and only a doctor can determine the exact cause.
Age 40. Psychogenic ED for over 20 years. Current regimen: Udenafil 200 mg, oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg, Seredyn.

Viagra causes the arteries to enlarge to allow more blood flow into the penis. The “physical” problem it solves is with the plaque in your penile arteries. Often ED is a precursor of heart disease. It is the same plaque that causes heart disease. The arteries in the penis are smaller than the ones in your heart. Since the arteries in the penis are smaller ED usually shows up before a heart attack.
Viagra can help with venous leak, if it’s the cause, by allowing more blood in than what goes out the leak. If the leak is minor an erection could be attained. If the leak is large an erection may not last long or just be a chubby.

It MIGHT mean you have no venous leak, but it's not guaranteed since many people with VL manage to counter it with drugs, injections and other methods.
It also doesn't mean at all that you don't have OTHER physical problems. Viagra is just a drug that stimulates/boosts the natural function of your body. Indeed it's different from injections who completely REPLACE the natural function, but still if you need to take oral drugs, you probably have some physical problem, whatever it might be.
40 years old, married. ED all my life because of spinal cord injury caused by a tumor in early infant age. Using standard EDEX20 since 2007. Increasingly bad results with EDEX in the last few years, but had very good results for at least 10 years.

PSSDorAmINormal wrote:I would say that is correct. But first what is your problem or how severe is your ED? It must not be severe if Viagra works for you. I don't understand why you want to fast track your way to implant when you are getting results with pills.
Maybe you just need more exercise or change in diet?
By change in diet, what do you mean mate ?
Is there a diet that promotes erections/libido ?

Viagra works for many cases of psychological ED also.

Viagra can work and you can still have a venous leak problem.
I had a venous leak problem on one side and Viagra worked for me, just not like when I was %100 healthy.
