Testostrone Injections

Hello everyone. I have a question about self injecting testosterone. I am going to start giving my own injections this week. I have read that you can inject in your thighs or other locations as well as in your hips. I would like some inputs from folks that give themselves the injections, where they inject and how they do it.

After two years of going to clinic for my bi-monthly shot. Was going to weekly shots so decided to do it myself… now been self administered for over a year…. I set on commode and put foot up on the little stool that the grands use to reach the sink, which straightens your leg out relaxing the muscles. About halfway between knee and hip at about the 2 o’clock position on right leg or 10 o’clock position on left leg you pinch up a large area of as much muscle as you can and do the shot. I use a 22-23 gauge 1-1/4” needle which I bury usually all the way in. Occasionally you’ll get a spasm which you learn to relax thru and ignore… almost never get a bleeder… maybe one in 15 times it requires a little pressure on the spot for a few min to stop the blood. I’ll move up and down the leg about 5” and alternate legs ea week. Can usually feel a little soreness the next day or two but again, just ignore it and go on.

I've been injecting prescription testosterone cypionate for 15 years. The first 5 years I did the traditional into muscle, the last 10 only into belly fat. Into muscle is painful, flat out, so much so I used to avoid doing it. It's stone-age primitive, after doing the muscle injection often I would be limping around for a day or two. Into belly fat or into muscle makes no difference in the labs.
