New Member, about to take the plunge!

Helllo, im 42 and have been battling ED on some level or another since my early to mid 30s. Getting an erection has never really been a problem however maintaining one is impossible for satisfying penetrative sex. Have been using Cialis and Viagra for the last several years and over the paat year or two they have become totally unreliable and even if they work only provide 50-60% ere tion throughout sex. My wife and I are not extremely sexuall meaning once maybe twice a week would we have sex. Anyway, im a client over at Defy Medical and after doing research on ICI and trimix i decided to talk to him about. He preecribed me the trimix 150/5/50/vial so the traditional 30/1/10/ml combo. Empower Pharmacy compounds the medication. He prescribed a starting dose of 5 units and advocates to "play safe go slow" and "practice before you play". Since i dont really have difficulty obtainig an erection i thought id start real low at first
Ive had the medication now for a week but havnt taken the plunge. The only thing i worry about is priapism. I work in an ER and the last thing i wanna do is check myself in one night and have everyone i know be there when i have it drained. Anyway i intend to inject .03 or 3 units as my first practice run. I dont even care if i see little to no results i will just up the dose by 2 units the day after the next for my second practice shot and i will continue to adjust until i hit the sweet spot. Best case scenario would be a rock hard erection lasting 30 minutes to an hour. Anyway, my dr also made sure to px my the antidote phylnephrine hcl, and a stocked up on sudafed tablets just in case. Anyway, i guess im posted here tonight just to maybe get a little more reassurance and maybe some experienced members lend some advice before i start practi ing. I really cant wait to start having amazing erections and amazing sex again in multiple positions its just i gotta get over this mental hump. Any advice or experiences would be appreciated. The shot itself does not worry me its just those very rare stories of guys in the ER with excruciating pain and drainibg that makes me hesistant. But believe i cant wait to get started. Im sure ill laugh at how nervous i was about this down the road. Anyway, thank you

Hope you're in good shape. Once you dial in the right quantity, you're going to need some stamina to go with that rock hard erection.

The thoughts you are having exactly mirror the ones that haunted me before my first injection. It's pretty freaky to stick a needle in your penis, and even worse being in an ER getting "drained". That has to be any man's nightmare. But for me now, nine months into trimix, injecting is no big deal now. And, like you, I started having ED issues off and on in my thirties, and also like you, Viagra and Cialis stopped working well, and for me, I didn't enjoy the sides at all.

You are really wise to have the phenylephrine vial on standby. The chances of you needing it are in the low single digits, but a very few people have sensitivity to one of the ingredients in trimix, and the other reason some people get in trouble is abusing trimix (too much of it, or injecting more soon after for a second session).

But as I said, I had the same concerns about priapism, so I went with 5 units for my first injection. It went well, about 75% hard, and after 20 or so minutes I went flaccid. So, I know I responded, and just as importantly got soft. For the next injection I went up to 10, and so forth. I ended up at 17 units and was happy there. After a few months, I switched to a slightly stronger mix of 30-1-25 and now I like 13 units. It lasts for a good 45 minutes, and at 64 years old, that's about as long I want sex to last.

What's really great about trimix, and what I am sure you will enjoy, is that you don't have to concentrate on keeping your erection. You can just enjoy the action.

If you are looking for the perfect syringe, I stopped searching once I found this one. And in addition to perfect size and length, they also freeze well. Meaning, the plunger still works smoothly once defrosted.

Thanks man! Its funny because those are the exact same insulin needles i have just waiting to used lol, same size same brand and got em on amazon too lol. Ill give it a shot (no pun) here pretty soon and report back. Thanks for the replies everyone

I’m not a Dr but after 14 months and around 125 shots I have a little experience.. normal to feel the way you do. Just go for it at the lower dose and go up as needed. I’ve had two occasions when going up trying to find a sweet spot that I got over 3 hours at which I started taking the Sudafed at about 5 pills. My Dr refused to fill the antidote shot.. said if I go slow and keep the Sudafed handy shouldn’t have any problems… we’ll after another hour I got enough relief to go to sleep setting my alarm for 2 hours and finding it mostly flaccid going to sleep for the night. My dick had a hang over the next day or so.x achy and a bit sore… but otherwise no issues. I started at 5 units which worked good for about 3 months at which I went to 8 and then 10 and now 14 months in I’m up to 22 units. Gives me a good solid for about an hour and another hour to 1-1/2 hr to be completely flaccid. Experiment with different positions when your done… I go down best on my back or right side. Left side let’s it come back around. If you get any stimulation for hours after it goes down you can get quite a quick return.
