But it DID work well for quite a few years at the start, with the occasional misses probably caused by bad technique. Basically at the start it was like ~10% miss, now it's ~10% success.
So, sadly, it's not all at encouraging, at least not for me.

That’s disappointing. Is this with the same dose that you used originally or has it increased? Any idea if a larger dose would work better?

Same dose, in EU we only have 2 options - 10 or 20 ug of Alprostadil. No bi, tri mix etc, no dose adjustments. I SUPPOSE a proper trimix would work great for me, since the basic 20ug shit still kinda works. But it's impossible to get, so i am stuck :/
40 years old, married. ED all my life because of spinal cord injury caused by a tumor in early infant age. Using standard EDEX20 since 2007. Increasingly bad results with EDEX in the last few years, but had very good results for at least 10 years.

Not true - at least in UK. CAVERJECT is available in 40 mcg ( dry powder in vial with sterile water to reconstitute ). I was prescribed this (NHS) for several years because I needed 24 to 26 mcg for a good erection. VIRIDAL (EDEX) 40 mcg sometimes prescribed when CAVERJECT not available. INVICORP also available but I have no experience of using that.
80 year old Type2 diabetic, long term ED, pills then injections PGE1. After 4 years they became less effective. Implanted 20/3/2018 by NHS. AMS 700 CX 15+4 cm with MS pump. Never had any significant pain. Still working perfectly and used regularly.

Yeah, the UK is different...
We don't get the 40mcg versions here on the "mainland". Also, no INVICORP, i've scoured pharmacies and sites, they won't import it because of BREXIT... :(

I've been talking up PT-141 around here a lot lately. I have trimix in the freezer but have only tried it once outside clinic and haven't dialed in its dosage. But PT-141 also gives me the plentiful bounce backs throughout the night. Probably even better than the scenario described here with trimix. Combined with the overnight effects of nocturnal tumescence it's almost like I'm a walking dildo when I get up to the bathroom.... I have to sit down or I'll hit anything but the toilet.
ED since mid '20, with slight Peyronies. Thus begins a search for the right solution(s); 56yo a/o Sep '21. Three months into my quest (12/21), I think PT-141, Cialis/tadalafil 20mg and L-Arginine (maybe other herbs) are a winning formula. For now.

With the rings does it work most of the time?

Well, it depends what you consider "working". It's definitely not a "steel rod" erection that people are reporting here often, i've never had one of those in my life, even when injections worked very well. It's a bit strange with the rings, i do get pretty larger and engorged (i guess i am a grower? My flaccid seems to be ~8cm and my erect ~15), it gets veiny... but it lacks the "core" hardness, if i can put it that way. Before, when injections worked well, the "inside" of my penis would get pretty hard, even if the final thickness seemed to be less than today. Now it seems thicker but the overall hardness is less. I suppose it's similar to using a VED - you get a pretty big, engorged cock but it's inside is not as solid as a "normal" erection.

It's enough for penetration sex, most of the time, but the sensation is less intense for me and also for my wife. Also, slipping out is more dangerous since when i was fully hard even if i slipped and thrusted back in, the hardness would make sure it goes right back in (path of less resistance i suppose), now i have to pay more attention if i get too vigorous, since slipping and pushing back will bend it and hurt, more easily than going back in.

I imagine the “core” is the tunica albuginea surrounding the corpora cavernosa. I know the feeling you describe from when I’ve used a VED and rings. Annoying phenomenon.
