Thanks Jim, yes tomorrow is the big day and it has been a long time coming. My surgery is scheduled for 11:20 AM. I'm supposed to be at the hospital at 9:15 AM. I'm still pretty darned excited, no nerves yet anyway, maybe by morning they will kick in some. I will post my experience in a few days.

!hi guys, excuse ny typing, but I.m sending this from the hospital room from my wife's KIndle _Fire. I did not bring my glasses either. Well the surgery went fine so I'm told. The pain is being managed ok. If ICough it hurts the reservoir incision like h e 'll. on also nauseated. They gave me something for the nausea, but I still threw up twice. Anyway I am so happy I have finally got it in and now the healing can begin. I WILL send an update tomorrow evening. I GO HOME TOMORROW some time around noon. Anyone heard how Bob's went today and how he is doing?

Well yeehaw and giddy-up! Feel better soon; do what the doctor says and you'll be saddling up before you know it!

Congrats -- you will find that ice will be your best friend for a few days, and it is easiest to pee in the shower then turn it on instead of trying to use the john. --- for what that is worth.
As the other guys have already said -- follow what the doc says and in a few weeks you will be like a 14 year old again. You will be able to drive nails with that thing LOL

Both of you new guys to the Brotherhood ... should seriously consider a stool softener, as soon as you get home ... those Hospital meds will bind you up for days. I shouldn't have to mention a hard strain at this point is rough ... Keep us posted on your progress ...

Yeah that is good advice Bionic. I've been on them since my RP 3 years ago. So I came home with some Vicadin and just took my first dose. The pain is not as bad as I was anticipating., but it is there, so I will do what I can to control it. I'm just thi\rilled that it is done and in there. Mainly the balls are sore and I keep having some spasms in the tip. All and All it is not that bad.
