Trimix refrigeration/freezing

Postby dw_william » Mon Mar 11, 2013 9:50 am

Hi,

I am using Trimix. But I don't need much and I don't use it that often (once a week at very most). At this rate it would take a year to use up the vial I was supplied. My question is how long will the medication stay effective? Should I be freezing the part I am not using. If so, can I buy a separate vial to keep the part I might use in the fridge and then freeze the rest?

Thanks!

My dosage is pretty small: 2-3 units at a time. That gives me all the erection I can use in one evening. :) Even injecting 3 times a week, a vial will last me more than a year. I keep mine in the fridge--not in the freezer--and I have found that the solution starts losing some of its potency only after 18 months or so. When it does, I just up the dose to 4 or 5 units and carry on. I pay just over $100 per vial for my Trimix; I think it's $110 or $115. Because of my low dose, my cost per injection is under $1 per shot. The syringes cost a little, but the total cost is still negligible.

Even for you guys who are using large doses, my experience is that if you inject regularly and often, you will rehab your erectile tissue enough to lower your dosage over time. As I always say, give it a shot. :)

Best wishes for hard times!

My solution is that I filled enough syringes for a couple months (about the time the medication supposedly loses effectiveness in the fridge) and I froze the rest. I will then thaw it in a few months and see what happens. Here is a scholarly paper concerning all this http://www.stabilis.org/FichesBiblio/1899-recherche - it seems to suggest that Trimix is good for a month in the fridge and six months for freezing for one thaw but people here (including yourself) seem to have different experiences. I'll see what happens!

DW.... My prescription is marked "DO NOT FREEZE"... so i don't ....
I just keep mine in the meat tray (Appropriate, no ? ) and it last a long time.
Both my Urologist and the pharmacist say, "Use it until it stops working" I am into my 8th or 9th month now and still get terrific hardons like when it was brand new.

Here's to HARD times.... for us all

Any idea which tissue is being rehabed by frequent injecting? Is it CC tissue, vein tissue, or nerve tissue? I have mentioned this effect on several threads, but I was recently questioned as to which tissue is being rehabed.

I think the penile tissue in general--cavernosa, sheath (flesh), blood vessels--everthing which has not been properly stretched recently gets stretched and stretched again. I think that makes it easier to stretch the next time. And the next.

Caveat: I am not a doctor and I don't play one on TV. Perhaps a biology major could better answer your question.
