HOLY CRAP!
I just came home to a voicemail from UCSF Medical Urology Department... they are going to see me!!!
Granted, it's not to see the Department Head who is a scar tissue specialist (and brother, have I got that in spades now), but it's a foot... penis... in the door.
If this doc thinks I'm an "interesting" enough case, I'm hoping he'll refer me on to the Department Head.
If... IF... they are willing to take me on, I still have the massive hurdle of UCSF being out of my insurance network. Who know if I can get the insurance to pay for a redo on an implant.
But it's a start in the process.
YAYAYAYAYAY!!!

Diabetic: used pills & injections.
2 TURP surgeries caused Peyronie's. 1st implant lost to infection, 2nd one is about 5 years old. But "floppy head" due to all the scar tissue, couldn't get tips all the way up.

After finding out in chat tonight what happened, I went thru and read all ur posts on the subject. Wow, that just stinks. I had a minor infection, my uro slapped me on so many antibiotics, it was gone in 2 days. I had just a bit of oozing low on the incision. Personally, I don't think ur doc was proactive when the incision didn't close, that should have been dealt with immediately.
Anyway my friend, my best wishes to you. And, get some help with that depression. From personal experience, it is no fun in the pit.

On the anti-biotics after surgery front. At one week my doctor decided that I needed another two weeks of anti-biotics just because he didn't think things were healing perfectly. No inflamation, no red spots the incisions just felt a little hard. Thing healed rapidly and well though.
