I was supposed to get the Titan OTR last December but my blood work came back a little off (because of the Testosterone treatments), so I took it as a sign and decided to hold off. Well now I'm thinking about it again but my concern is the pump-up bulb in my scrotum, I've read a lot of comments about it and don't like the idea of having that thing in there with the pinching, the pain when sitting, it seems like something I'm not sure I'd get used to. I workout a lot, squats, sitting on benches, etc. Do any of you guys truly get used to it to the point where you forget it's there? Or is it a constant reminder every time you sit? Quadmix shots work pretty well for me but I hate sticking myself with a needle, plus it doesn't get rock had like I would like, and when I lay flat on my back it seems to go down. I wish they'd come out with a remote control that you could use to pump yourself up instead of a bulb in your sack .
Anyway I'd love to hear what you guys have to say about it.

hey Dennov how are you?
i'm getting the titan otr tommorrow and your concern is/was my concern along with a mryiad of other things...
my scrotal sack is generally always very tight because of stress and iv sensitive nads so i hate the idea of having something that will be nearly as big as my balls inbetween my balls but i oput it down to this
all the guys on this that i have talked to dont see it as an issue after a period of time....
also whats a worse predicament have no sex no life no sattisfaction or have a slight discomfort for a while because of the pump.....
well as you can tell iv picked the implant.... although pain is momentary..... i will dose my self with painkillers till it feels ok!!!
so besrt of luck with your choice!!!
hope this helps!!!

Yep, life Is all about choices. Limp dick or prick stick? Limp dick or extra nut? Easy decision for me.

Re: thinking about the implant again but worried about the bulb.
dennov, I have the AMS700LGX. Every time I feel my scrotum and the bulb pump, I rejoice. It is this pump and the cylinders and the reservoir that have restored sex life with my wife. Yes, I feel the pump, but seldom does it interfere with my working in the yard, riding in my car, or sitting. Occasonally some adjustment in my position needs to be made for more comfort. I ride my stationary bike. And I wear an athletic cup when I play with my granchildren (those sharp little elbows). Get the implant. You will adjust to your fuller scrotum. Best wishes.
Re: thinking about the implant again but worried about the bulb.
At 4 months I still know it is there. No pain, no irritation, no trouble sitting, and it works nicely. AMS 700 LGX for the type information. The biggest adjustment has been the increase in flacid size with the implant. Not a problem just a definite difference. I was always of the "grower" type with a quite small flacid state, now I have a respectable package when not inflated ( about twice what it was before implant) and a very useable tool when inflated. All in all, a workable substitute for the natural the quit functioning after prostate cancer surgery.

Hi Dennov,
I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan in December 2007 after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004.
The Implant completely corrected my ED and restored both my sex life and the emotional bond with my wife.
We celebrated our 50th Anniversary on September 8, 2012 and have taken full advantage of my Implant for the past
5 years and counting.
The first month or so is the hardest in that your body is adapting to the Implant.
The initial Post-Surgical swelling and hypersensitivity fades with time and, personally, my Titan Implant just became a part of my body. As for the bulb --- the only time I feel it now is in the shower while soaping up my scrotum.
Like you, I am a workout freak -- free weights, machines, swimming, biking, etc.
My Implant does not impede any of my daily physical activities.
Looking back, the discomfort I experienced for a brief period following my Implant was a small price to pay for the
total return of my manhood.
Wishing you a lifetime of enjoyment with your Implant should you decide to proceed.

Re: thinking about the implant again but worried about the bulb.
Thanks everyone for your replies, I think I may just make an appointment to go back to my urologist and try again. I tried the Quadmix again tonight but it seems to leave my penis in pain (had to tell the wife not to squeeze too hard). Implants are sure looking better and better!

Re: thinking about the implant again but worried about the bulb.
Trimix injections work great for me--no pain, no sting, just a nice erection. But I think if the shots were painful--or even really uncomfortable--I'd be checking out implant options this afternoon. Best of luck in your research.
