Everybody has different results and experiences. I’ve only been injecting for 14 months and already have some slight noticeable scaring. Feels like I have two tiny bbs on my shaft right where I inject and also have noticed a feeling like I’m injecting into a piece of sandpaper several times in other areas. Spoke to my urologist about this and he said it’s most likely scar tissue building up. I’ve also gone from 5 units of a regular mix to 30 units over the 14 months. Planning an implant and will begin my journey as soon as I can get some BPH issues handled.

I am curious as to why some people get scarring so quickly and others not so. Did your uro say anything to this reguard? I am guessing that this is dependent on the frequency of injections and the person's physiological makeup.

I just started with Trimix and it looks like we have same mix. So this is somewhat of a concern of mine.

Sorry for the slow reply. I wonder also about why some scar and some don’t. I’ve read on here where some have injected for 10 plus years and still use the same amount of mix…. Everybody is different. My Dr did tell me that most likely my V.Leak is probably getting worse is why I have to use more… I’m just done with needles as soon as I can get implanted it will be done… but it’s not that easy… takes time dealing with BPH and then on to implant

I suppose i have a good amount of injections behind my back, started using 2007 two shots per week, then down the line modified my prescription to 3 per week, but don't really remember when. Probably 3-4 years ago.

They barely work now, tho.

I seem to recall that you said they started to lose effectiveness around 4-5 years ago. So your successful run would have been 10 years 2007-2017, during which time you did 2 per week?

Wouldn't bet on the exact dates tho. It's all very random

I average injecting trimix every 10 days since September 2019.

To those who have injected a lot of times over the years, how many successful injections do you estimate that you’ve done? Or alternatively, how frequently do you inject and how long have you been doing it?

So far we have:

mikehard: 1872 (trimix)
bldoink: 1500 (PGE-1)
sputnik: 1200-1600 (bimix,trimix)
Hunchback: 1000 successful injections (PGE-1)
once a writer: 900 (trimix,quadmix)
Whodat: 250-500 (PGE-1)
Conesus7676: 90 (trimix)

I inject twice a week. I've been injecting since Sept. 2017 so that's about 450 injections.

No problem on the slow response. May I ask how often have been injecting during the 14 months since you have started with Trimix?

At least twice weekly. Once midweek and once on weekends.During the summer when the wife and I are at the houseboat occasionally twice on weekends… Friday, sunday
