A good friend of mine has recently separated from his wife. He's been injecting Trimix for over 3 years and is happy with the results. He wants to start dating again soon but is concerned about what a partnrs reaction may be to him injecting and having ED. He's 52. Hw wants to know if he should be upfront with a potential sex partner or wait until they have sex and let her ask.
Here is what I think he should do, but being married I may not have the right approach so maybe someone who is single and been through this may be able to help.
I think he should have sex first for a couple of times before saying anything because women may be uptight if he tells them before. When things heat up, just go in the bathroom and inject and then perform the best he can to make sure the lady is satified. After several sexual encounters if she starts to wonder he can tell her. By then her reaction will probably be positive since she had good sex.
Any advice from anyone who has been through this?

Single and using Timix
Re: Single and using Timix
Shipper: I am kinda in the early stages of all this right now. See my story here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2508
This (extremely hot, much younger) woman and I are in the flirting stage now, and I have no idea of where it might lead; I am not even positive if she is available. If the situation evolves to the ultimate goal, I also have no idea of when to tell her about the needle, which is still in the experimental stage. I will try the 3rd test shot this weekend.
I have another female friend, an (unhappily) married online pen-pal that lives several states away. We have been writing for 5-6 years, talked on the phone a few times, but will never meet each other, and probably because of that fact we talk about anything and everything. I can get a very honest, unbiased, female perspective from her on things that I could not get elsewhere.
I just wrote her last night asking her opinion of what a woman might think facing a new lover who tells her beforehand about the needle. Of course, when she replies, this will be just one woman's opinion.
I don't know how you sneak it in and tell them later -- during foreplay she's gonna find dead meat, then you go to the bathroom and come back in 5 minutes with a granite-hard boner. Seems to me she would really wonder WTF was going on.
Whoever, whenever, my next woman might be I would have to tell her beforehand. The question for me is, how much beforehand?

RP in 2012 because of prostate cancer. 100% ED, also some leakage problems.
Re: Single and using Timix
Ive been using trimix with my girlfriend for about 4-5 months now, and only recently did she ask why I always go to the bathroom before sex. I lied and told her I always have to pee, and she still doesn't know. I would only tell your partner if and when you are comfortable with it.

As I mentioned in my previous post, what about foreplay? What woman wouldn't expect us to be hard then?

I inject even before foreplay, when i know its going to happen. I guess it would be a lot easier to be up front about it, but I'm pretty young and the whole thing would be embarrassing i think.
Re: Single and using Timix
Until you inject because you think its a guarantee, then all of a sudden she gets prudish on you. Now your sitting there at attention for 2 hours, weirding her out. Id say if its a one night stand, hide it. If its someone that would become a gf or repeat fwb, I would show her on either the 2nd or 3rd pipe laying.
Re: Single and using Timix
Yea, being single and using Trimix with a lady is awkward....I just started on it after 8 years on successful oral meds. My first encounter yesterday with my lady friend was unbelievable....except afterwards I had some bruising....I don't think I held pressure on the site long enough..anyway, I've been easing her into this whole thing....I have been with her for about a year and half...through my coronary by-pass surgery and all...after I started having difficulty with her getting hard I told her I was getting checked out..I mentioned how the Doc told me about arteries to the penis becoming blocked like the arteries to my heart....
I just told her we (my Doc and I) discussed various treatment options....but I didn't mention injections...just yet...ok I'm afraid of losing her...she's more a FWB than a girlfriend...but we've become very good friends over the 1-2 years we've known each other....The tell tale give away will be when I want to use condoms...we have both been tested numerous times over our relationship and every time we're negative of STDs....I'm concerned now with the injections...although I've read on-line it's rare to get an STD with injections...unless you're bed hoping of course.....I decided next time to try the oral meds again..as they still work from time to time depending on my anxiety level....
I do envy the happily married guys on this forum or guys in stable relationships because these issues I'm sure don't come up...it's hard enough dating at 58 yrs old, becoming comfortable with each other without throwing ed in the mix and all the crap we have to deal with...the What ifs? the Do I inject tonight or try Viagra?....Can't drink a glass of wine.....oh, it works best on an empty stomach so let's not go to dinner.....sometimes I just want to throw up my hands and become a celibate....just venting guys...but us single guys have double the challenges I think anyway.

70 year old legally separated retired health-care professional. ED began in my early 50's. Viagra worked great for about 5 years, then had cardiac by-pass surgery and eventually moved to injections about 10 years ago.

Re: Single and using Timix
For all you single guys using Trimix, I don't see a great problem with what to do with partner. As far as when you go to the bathroom to inject, I would do it after heavy kissing so you be hard when there is serious foreplay. After all it will take you 5 mins or more to get hard. Just tell the lady you have to pee or you want to freahen up (brush teeth, wipe your penis,) so when things heat up more you have good hygene, As far as a long erection, I wouldnt say anything unless she ask. Lots of men get hard a few minutes after c umming and can go a 2nd time.
If you doing a good job in bed satisfying her, how you get up shouldnt matter. When i used to date before I remarried, I found women were shy the first few times too. Maybe a little uptight about their bodies especialy their tummy and boobs. Also the women a lot of imes retreated to the bathroom when things looked like they would progress.

I agree with Shipper...I don't see using Trimix as a big deal and I'm 37 years old. I dated the girl I am currently with now for less then two months when I told her I had ED. I explained the whole Trimix deal and everything. She doesn't care about it
She claims its the best sex she has ever had. The most importnat things to mention are the folloiwng: Tell her it doesn't hurt (even if you have to lie) and tell her it has absolutely nothing to do with them, let her know how much she turns you on and how hot she is.
