Caverject Works/Works Not

After 10yrs of increasingly ineffictive Viagra, I decided to try the Caverject route. My Uro (actually specialist nurse) allowed me to inject myself in front of her in the clinic, and using only 5mcg of a 10 mcg dual chamber, I achieved a 75% erection that lasted for two hours. I had doubted it would work, as I had tried papaverine years ago that had no effect. When I felt it having an almost immediate impact I was incredibly bouyed by this. The nurse said I could try the full 10mcg at home.
Feeling hyper-confident - as this felt amazing - I did the 10mcg a few days later as advised at home. Disappointingly I only got a 40 - 50% that might have briefly hit 60%. Within an hour and a half most of the effect had worn off, leaving just the dull ache. Never at any time hard enough for penetration.
From feeling really elated I now have serious doubts again!
Presumably 20mcg could work better, but my problem is that the bigger dose last time had less effect. Is this normal? I wanted to be able to go into a sexual encounter with complete confidence, but now that hope has been shot down!
Could I mix it with a Viagra?
My ED is/was low testosterone thats now been corrected wth Nebido. There may be an anxiety angle as well. The plumbing has been tested and is good, and I pump most mornings for 20mins.

It is possible that you didn't inject properly and the medication didn't reach the target area. Are you using the needle supplied by the caverject system? Wait for a few days and try again. If it still does not work go to the doctors again and try it there.

same thing happens to me it is hit or miss,,, I am going for the implant i like the idea of no more meds and no more injecting.

My third attempt 100% successful. The mistake I made last time was I injected at home, and then immediately walked 15 mins over to my girlfriends place. Walking around it appears, is not a good way to induce an erection - in fact guys on here recommend walking for losing an unwanted boner.
This last time, I injected and relaxed on the bed, allowing the mixture to work as it should. And boy did it!

10mcg. Hopefully my third will go just as well.

Something to keep in mind - I started out with 10 mcg injections of Edex (pretty much the same as Caverject) & after 6-8 months I had to increase to 20 mcg to obtain & maintain a good erection. Now, maybe that's just me, but don't be surprised if it gets to the point you need to up your doseage. My uro was good about it & said that it happens sometimes. Just a heads-up...
