Question

Postby Iloveburritos » Tue Apr 26, 2022 10:08 am

This is my first post, however I have been a longtime reader of your posts.

Im in my mid thirties and pills do not work for me anymore. They haven't for a while...

I went to the urologist yesterday to try Trimix for the first time. He gave me 10 (I'm guessing it was ml, it was the number 10 on the tiny syringe). I got a few inch partially erect chub. I could still kind of bend my cock. I guess i could still possibly penetrate, but would not be satisfying for my wife or me...

I tried explaining that my dick is about 6" and it is not really wasn't erect. The Dr explained this is my 'new' cock size and I probably lost substantial size due to ED. Fuck... I was expecting if I have to stick a needle into my dick, I would at least get a full blown hard erection.

I was devastated. I broke down crying in his office. It was full blown hysterical crying... How has my dick shrunk so much??? WTF?? I am usually very in control of my emotions, but I just couldnt help it. I dont think Ive cried in years.

I was expecting so much better of an erection with Trimix. Even if I am now just 3 inches... I expected it fucking hard, not somewhat bendable.i asked him if he did not give me enough and he stated I had blood flow into my penis and "this was an erection". He then put the fear of god into me about what would happen if I used too much, that I would have to go to the ER and have the blood drained with a huge needle.

I spoke to him at great lengths about implants while I cried. He stated that with an implant my dick would still only be a few inches as that is my dick size now.

Do other people have a different reaction to Trimix? I guess I was expecting a rock hard cock? How is other peoples dick on Trimix? Do you guys get a pathetic erection as well? I guess Im just floored at my results.

Ive been reading this website for a long time and everyone seems so upbeat? How are you all not more angry? Im so angry/sad. I just dont get how everyone is so positive on this site. Im half the man I used to be. Literally and figuratively. Its devastating.

In my non professional opinion if you haven't had any sort of surgery 'down there' I don't see why a bit of therapy with a VED (vacuum erection device) wouldn't help getting your size back. That doctor seems a bit of a dim-wit  . You may want to find another one. Another plus is that insurance might actually pay for the VED since it would be therapeutic if prescribed by a MD. Hang in there Bro.

I think you should try a different doctor. I agree with alfa88.

Additionally, there is generally some titration (cautious experimentation) involved with finding the proper injection strength and dose. Your doctor doesn't seem equipped to help you with that. Was this the doctor or his/her PA?

Over the years during my search for solutions, I saw some real quack urologists. Uncompassionate, cold and unknowledgeable. There is so much wrong with what he said, you absolutely must see another doctor. The right strength and dose of Trimix does work better than what you experienced. I even had one jerk coldly tell me I just needed to get used to never having erections again, that there was nothing to do about it. I'm sorry for what you went through, but there are good doctors out there, find one as soon as possible. You can beat this with some good medical care.

I agree with what everyone else has responded with, you may want to consider a different doctor:

The first dose will likely be very modest and potentially disappointing. My first instructional/practice session with Trimix was in the Urologist office. He has a lot of experience helping those of us with ED after prostate surgery. You cannot expect the best on your very first low-dose visit.

This first office visit the Dr. started me out with a 20 unit dose and said he would be back in 15 min. to check the response
And my response was a chub, not hard and only about 2/3 the length I remember, but he said this was a good first response. He then told me to increase by 5 units every few days until I find my magic number (being careful to make sure the erection does not go more than 4 hours). Well as it turns out my magic number is 30 and I found rock hard, with 90% of the length from my pre-surgery days, and lasting for ~2.5 hours.

I hope my explanation provides you some comfort/hope

i dont consider my doctor the best but he was a little knowledgeable about trimix but only in patients who have more sever ED than I. my uro wanted to start me on 30 units but thank god i was on this forum prior to that. i convinced him to half the dose to start and again, thank god, because 30 units gave me an almost 5 hour erection. but i can say that i also did not have a full blown erection there in the office. while i made the trip home, i could feel it getting harder. once home and after almost no foreplay, it was harder than anything ive ever felt. i had to cut that dose by 5 until i found the right dose. i am up to around 15 injections so far and after all injections, its not a solid erection right after the needle comes out. it does take some help from you or spouse. once it sets in, its in. i with all the others, find a more suitable doctor. i hope it works out for you.

It was in U-100 insulin units. There are 100 U-100 insulin units per ML. Almost everyone doses their injection juice in units, but not everyone. Occasionally you'll find a doctor talking in fractions of mls. For example, if your doctor used a U-100 insulin syringe at 10 units it would equate to the .1 on a ml marked syringe. I hope I explained that correctly and clearly.

Why not be upbeat? There's no down side to it.

There are times when anger can be useful and valid. But general, long lasting anger is destructive and won't lead to a positive outcome. Anger won't help you with this. Let go of it.

Yes it can be very depressing if you dwell on it. You can do that and cry about it OR you can have a positive attitude and continue to work on improving your situation. There are a number of therapies and potential treatments. At this point none are as good as a youthful, fully functioning dick. Accept that and move on toward finding the best solution for you.

A positive attitude can be a large part of reaching your goal. A negative attitude pretty much assures an unsatisfactory outcome. Having a positive attitude makes for a much more pleasant life in general. Having a positive attitude is a choice. So yes, make that choice. Have a positive attitude!

My urologist started out with 10 units also. I got a nice chub out of it. Got online when I got home and ordered the lowest prescription of Trimix and experimented until I got a rock solid erection at 20 units. YOU have to be a big part of finding a solution. RXbuyersclubusa.com.

My doctor stated you should not do Trimix more than once every three days to stop scarring. Is that what you all have been told as well?

It seems like a good many urologists look at ED as an annoyance, a small sliver of their practice. Considering MD's are steeped in rapidly diagnosing disease states like kidney stones and prostate issues, they probably assume they don't have time for the feeling part of the practice, and they probably don't consider ED a "real" disease like those others I just mentioned. Like it has been for you, my ED was a personal disaster. And you certainly have good company here.

What I would do if I were you. Take the Trimix script. Immediately buy a penis pump, like the ones on Ebay like these, be sure to get the pump with a gauge. (not an affiliate link) https://www.ebay.com/itm/143323507301?_ ... 7Ciid%3A14

Get some good lube (for the penis pump and for sex), like Slippery Stuff on Amazon. You will need this thick lube to do some rehab work on your twice-daily rehab penis pumping. Don't go with too much pressure, start out around 5-7 units of pressure for a few minutes, release, and pump again, and stop if you feel any pain. Pain does damage, mild pumping though will help getting things (your penile arteries) back to the way they used to be years ago. You'll get the hang of things in short order.

If the trimix strength is not working after pumping and adjusting very slowly upward on the dose, there are other options for getting a stronger mix- either by seeing another urologist or tele-med (the last was the way I went). And when you find out what strength you were prescribed, please let us know the formula.
