First Injection Today. Success , I think.

Postby jtc_hunter » Fri Apr 19, 2013 2:15 am

Got my Bimix delivered today and after work, did my first injection. 29g x 1/2" syringe. I am a huge coward when it comes to needles but ended up laughing to myself about how minor this was. Piece of cake! I did 10 units into the right side of my penis and after about 15 mins. Got a pretty good wood, but only lasted about 3 mins. I then did what the instructions said to never do. I injected another 10 units into the left side. Yeah , looking back, probably wasnt a good idea. Erection was very good, no pain or aching, but was hard even after orgasm for just under 4 hrs. Still pudgey, but bendable and no pain. I was getting nervous at 3 hrs. and was planning to go to a Wallgreens and get some sudafed, but didnt have to. Wheew! Next time I think I will try 15 units (just one side). A question I have is: Since I only have a left side nerve bundle , after RP surgery, would an injection have more effect on the left side? Or doesnt it really matter? I know it is recommended to alternate sides, but would the bimix be more effective on the side with nerves? Also, I think I will pick up some sudafed to just keep on hand. It's 20 miles to the Wallgreens store. This is my first usable erection in 2.5 yrs. without using the vac pump. The pump works, but I would rate the injection as better. I got a 30 ml. of bimix delivered with 20 syringes and alcohol pads for $90. If 15 units is my magic number then wouldnt 30ml give me 20 doses? That would work out to $4.50 per boner, right?

1 ml = 1 cc = 100 units

10 ml = 1000 units

30 ml = 3000 units

Dem's da facts. Every time. The markings on the barrel of your syringe should confirm the conversion factor.

You might want to double check the size your vial. For the price you paid, I suspect you may have a 10 ml vial. Or maybe Bimix generally costs less than Trimix. Either that, or you've got the best price in the country. :) I just paid $115 for 10 ml of Trimix (refill) plus 30 syringes. I think the syringes are $8 for a pack of 10.

Best wishes for continued success.

OK, got it figured out that the vial is 5ML and if 15 units is my number, then it should do around 25 doses. ( the pharmacist said that a small amount stays in the syringe and is wasted). But at $90 delivered, that is $3.60 per dose. Cialis was way more expensive and it didnt work for me. This bimix is a great blessing. Is this a good price ( $90 delivered for 5ML, 20 syringes and 20 alc. pads) ?

My compounding pharmacist says most of the cost of bimix and trimix is the compounding itself , the ingredients are a small part of the actual cost . I pay $75 for a weak trimix formula with 10 syringes , so $90 for the same amount of bimix seems kind of high to me ......but I guess different areas have different costs .

It seems to me that at 15 units per shot, you should have at least 30 shots in that vial--maybe a few more. In my experience, the waste is miniscule--just push that plunger all the way as far as it will go.

Just my thoughts.

Jtc,

Glad you got all that sorted out without a ER Incident (I guess you had no Invite from the doc to walk thru the first shot?? ) Kind of unusual but we see it happen here all the time -- usually without disaster if they have read enough here or elsewhere first and got the shot right).

On the nerves vs left or right shots. If you are getting nothing at all for erections before Bimix then you can essentially declare nerves out of the picture as far as any contributing factor to the shot. And also left or right nerve would contribute evenly to both sides if they were to do anything.

Keep on shootin' !!

15 units on the right side this morning worked very well. This confirms what you said, jim. I think the one side of nerves I have (left side) is somewhat working. Best sex my wife and I have had in years. Thank you Lord in Heaven, and thanks to all of you for all the very good info and help.
