Long shot, but I'm pretty convinced my current urologist isn't a good fit for me as a patient nor does he seem to be all that knowledgeable about injections.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good urologist/men's health doctor in the Phoenix, AZ area (East Valley preferably...but willing to drive for the right doc)?
Thanks in advance!

Do not go to Summit Male Medical, they have no clue what to do, because of their incompetence I have a permanent damage. I recommend Dr Blick, he is in Scootsdale
I had a trauma 2 years ago, caused me narrowing, dent and shortening. PRP injections three months ago=worse narrowing, and worse ED. Now I only have two choices: impotent or implant. Born in 1975, in a relationship with girlfriend fir 4 years

Beginning to think incompetence is rampant in medical. Dr. Blick is the one that fucked up my injection for the doppler u/s and I ended up in the ER after hours getting it drained.
He very much seems specialized in terms of doing implants....he's probably quite capable in that arena, but it seemed to me that if I weren't a candidate for that procedure, then he did very little beyond prescribing PDE-5 inhibitors to treat ED, nor did he have much interest.
At least I know to avoid Summit Male as well. Much appreciated.

Phoenix area here. After a year long experience dealing with urologists who were not interested in actually treating me, I signed up to visit a urologist at the Mayo Clinic. The experience was like night and day. The urologist listened to my concerns and answered every question thoroughly. We worked to identify a comprehensive plan to identify any underlying issues and addressed avenues of potential treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Frendl.
ED issues for the past 12 years. Viagra and Cialis proved to be ineffective. Trimix injections did not work. Implanted 01/27/23 with AMS 700 CX (24 cm).

Thank you SOOO much for the recommendation. My wife and I received a very similar level of care at Mayo clinic a few years back...yes...night and day. I should have considered that sooner. Thank you again.
Are you on injections? If so, do you know if he was he willing to prescribe mono-mix (Alprostadil, PGE-1, Prostaglandin....all various names of essentially the same compound)? My current urologist is set on Tri-mix....but the scarring/fibrosis Tri-mix can cause seems to be setting one up for long term problems and an eventual implant.
