Doctor recommended VED exercises before implant

We have all read about doctor recommended VED exercises in preparation for implant surgery, but rarely do I see specific instructions for these exercises, such as, how often, how many, how much vacuum, etc

What instructions were you specifically given? There are probably as many sets of instructions as there are doctors, but I would like to know the program your doctor recommended.
Used Viagra & Cialis until lost vision in one eye due to AION, therefore can never use pills again, then tri-mix 1 1/2 years until unreliable. Implanted 9/20/22 at 77 years old by Dr. Yafi, UC Irvine. Married 55 years wife 76. 20cm Coloplast Titan.

AC,
from my surgeon...
use the VED 7 weeks prior to surgery.
20-30 minutes per day, twice a day.
during that time, apply vacuum to penis.
hold vacuum engorged penis for 3 minutes.
release vacuum and VED and massage penis firmly for 2 minutes.
repeat
do not exceed 5" of vacuum!
Preform this vacuum process for 6 weeks.
Do not use the VED 1 week prior the implant surgery.

RRP 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. Wehle. Non nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 7 - 16 units. Originally Edex20 or 40, then compounded PGE1 due to cost. Inject. 14 yrs. It works. FL Treasure coast.
