I've noticed no issues about inflation. Both cylinders fills equally at the same time in my case (left side goes a little further into the glans, but this was the same also at the beginning). I have no issues other than the bulk at the base of the left cylinder. Also no pain on the bulk area. It's just somehow weird because touching it I can feel the kink/bulk. I started inflating daily again from about 2 weeks but I noticed no changes. I also try to keep my penis pointed up as much as possible because, being the kink downward, I hope it can somehow straighten and settle down.
Dr. Eid has not replied to me, I don't know why.. I sent him a detailed email with photos 3/4 days ago. I will resend him the email tomorrow. I'll wait for your after-visit update on this thread!

Hey Steve,
Clarify your situation for me - do you believe that the bulk on the base of your left cylinder is the kink? I ask because I have a bulk on my right cylinder that is exactly opposite of where the indentation is on my left cylinder. However, my belief (and it may be wrong) is that the kink is actually the indented part of the left cylinder. The "kink" is preventing the cylinder from inflating normally - instead of inflating outwards from the center of my penis, it is inflating inwards which is pushing the right cylinder out more (hence the bulk on the right side). This is just speculation and my terminology of what constitutes a kink or not may be incorrect. Either way, something is definitely affecting it.

Hi Cindium,
My right side is perfect without any kink, bulk or indentation. Left side has a kink and a bulk around it. I’m sorry because English is not my primary language and I may not be able to explain it good enough.

Anyway dr. Eid replied me and he told me that if this doesn’t bother me I can do nothing and that it’s mostly cosmetic. He added that If it bothers me the only solution is to have surgery and cut the adhesion that is causing the kink and that it’s caused by not fully inflating in the early phase after the surgery.
And that’s true, because my left side is a bit too long and was too painful to fully inflate at the beginning. In fact after a few months from the surgery I had a video consultation with him and he suggested to remove a rte from that side. Anyway I was not able to travel again at that time and after a few months the pain disappeared. I have pain only if I inflate to 100% but I use 80/90% hardness to have sex and that’s more than enough. I asked him if cycling daily to 100% now ma fix the issue and he replied that I can try but it’s difficult because now the scar tissue is very firm.
I’ll try with that but I don’t want to have a surgery for that for sure since implant is working good and I have no pain on the kink area. I’m young and I’ll need revisions for sure, that’s a small thing that can be fixed when this implant will fail.

Interesting. So have you decided not to pursue a revision at this time?

Remind me, are you in the US? Being international can definitely affect a decision like this.

Update: after multiple consecutive days of cycling, there is a noticeable throbbing in the area of my left cylinder where the dent/curve is. This throbbing occurs shortly after or a few hours after I inflate/deflate. Its not painful and definitely bearable. Not sure what to think of this.

It was a cylinder kink on the left and need to be replaced. I didn’t successfully find any solutions other than revision. But don’t lose hope bro we all going through it. My AMS been broken for about 2 months now and I have no insurance or money to get it fixed.

So from the bright side until you can get it fixed just look at the bright side that your implant is still working although I know that kink can be a b.

No, I'm from Italy. I'm also on my second revision so i would like to avoid as many surgeries as possible because I'm young like you.

Hey not sure if you meant to type something with the quote, but I did take a look at this thread from Pamen. The way his glans curves to the left and the dent on the bottom left side is very similar to what I am experience. This encourages me that what I have is in fact a kink, which, although not ideal, is very correctable with a revision.

Random question. Does glen not get engorged with implant? Or does your penis always look like that?

A glans cannot be engorged by an implant. There is no part of the implant that expands to complete fill out your glans.

However, my glans still does get engorged, whether the implant is inflated or not. If I am aroused my glans will engorge just as it did before the implant. When I took the pictures for this thread I was not aroused and I was not giving myself any stimulation, which is why the glans looks like that. However, during foreplay and sex, or whenever im horny, my glans will fill up naturally.

Update after visit with Eid:

Eid said my situation was incredibly rare and he couldnt think of the last time he saw this happen. He believes the most likely scenario is that scarring occurred around the dent on the left cylinder (years after the surgery) and that this is causing the cylinder to not inflate in a straight line. The second most probable scenario is a hernia of the left cylinder, which would cause the same symptoms.

Revision is an option, but he thinks that it may be tricky because he believes there may be fibrosis at the top of the left cylinder since it fills into the glans less than it did before (it still goes into the glans quite a ways, certainly not what people would considered undersized). This didnt make too much sense to me because i can think of a ton of people who had very undersized implants and they were able to get their sizes corrected in the future. Part of me thinks that he was trying to talk me out of the revision because, in his opinion (which may be entirely correct) he thinks that my condition is purely cosmetic. He did admit that it could be a possibility that my right tip would poke my partners, but since it didnt happen with my last one it would unlikely be the case for future ones. The biggest concern is any future worsening of my symptoms, which he wasn't really sure if it was possible or not.

When I asked him what the single biggest risk is of having a revision, his answer was infection, which is very very low. He said i dont have any risk of downsizing or coming out with less than i went in with.

We also talked about other surgeons. He thinks it is smart to get a second opinion from Billy Cordon, who is his favorite alternative to himself. He was hesitant about recommending Hakky or Perito, which I understand. He did, however, recommend Perito if I was interested in UroFill. He said he has actually referred a ton of people to Perito for UroFill because he thinks Perito has the best experience in it.

My plans moving forward: I will likely get the revision because I am not happy with the curvature. I would like the implant to be the way it was for the first 2 years after surgery. I am going to get a second (virtual) opinion from Billy Cordon and talk to Perito about UroFill. Eid said that getting UroFill would not impede or cause any problems if I decided to get the implant revision afterwards. After these 2 meetings I will make a final decision. Eid said to plan for $20k for the revision, but it may be less if he can prove something was defective with the implant. I'm fine with $20k.

Biggest lesson: Eid did admit that my 3-4 month span of not inflating may have caused my tunica wall on the left side to weaken since that is where my scarring was pre-op in years ago. However, he still said that this would be very rare and, during our virtual meeting in January, he didnt think that was even an option then. Therefore, moving forward, I think I am going to keep cycling permanently. This isn't something I will do everyday, but maybe something like 3 days a week. Given my unique situation/anatomy, I feel that this may prevent similar situations in the future. I will also try to speak to Perito about this modeling technique, but I understand he may not tell me since I'm not an actual implant patient of his. If that is the case, then I will discuss the Perito method further with some of his patients on FT.

Let me know what you gents think, I am open to suggestions and opinions.
