AMS LGX, 22 years old, just implanted!!

Postby Bishop » Thu Apr 25, 2013 10:05 am

Hi guys,
I'm writing from the Hospital, I'm a 21 years old italian guy, venous leak, oral meds didn't work, injections too painfull and so uncomfortable!
I decided to procede with the implant few months ago, I read a lot on this website, but this is my first post!

So, 48h post op, quite pain, not so much but present.
I feel uncomfortable when sited and also standing up, because the implant is partially inflated so the penis head hits underwear!

I feel also some discomfort near the reservoir! Is it normal?

Pain is also inside the penis shaft and especially in the penis head.
Some discomfort urinating, I had the catheter removed just this morning, after 48h.
I'm a bit negative for the pain, but I know that the worst is gone..

Apologize for my not perfect English!

I wait your answers :)

Congrats! ... and Welcome to the Brotherhood. Once the swelling goes down (takes several days) you will feel completely different than you do now. Everything you are feeling now is normal ... it will take several weeks for everything to calm down in your body ...

Congratulations, it seems that you are on the normal course. In a few months you will look back on the pain as a small price to pay to get a dick that works on command.

Thanks to all of you guys!

Today is day3 post op, I'm still a bit worried if I will be able to full recover from this situation.
I can not cough for the pain, I can not sleep in the positions I want, move legs is not easy or painfree and the head of the penis really looks bad!
The pain near the reservoir is strange, seems to be in a wrong position! Is it normal to feel some pain near the reservoir, just coughing?

Thanks, I'll keep you updated

You will be experiencing various 'pains' as you heal. Your body was traumatized and will take some getting used to with the new equipment.
The head of your penis will heal very quickly with the amount of blood supply there. The 2 locations on each side of the urethra is where the tubes were pulled into the shaft. Within a couple more days those will disappear and the bruising will disappear quickly.

Best wishes

It was very painful for me when I coughed or sneezed during the first three weeks post-op. My opening from the scrotum to the abdomen was extra large so my surgeon used some stitches to close it down a bit as he was concerned that the reservoir might fall out of the abdomen. So that might have caused my coughing pain to last longer than others. In order to avoid the pain I developed a way of using fast breathing (panting like a dog) to avoid a cough or sneeze when I felt one coming on. After about three weeks the pain went away and coughing and sneezing were no longer a problem.

Hang in there, it seems you are experiencing the same post-op pain many of us did and time will take care of it.

Hey Buddy.....you're on your way!!
Mine done in 2008 due to venous leak. Best decision ever made.
At 78, I'm still impressed with the implant!!

As the victim of much abdominal surgery. Hernia/undescended testicle repair, open Radical Prostatectomy, and Penile Implant with an alternate reservoir location, I can assure you that any abdominal surgery will hurt when you cough. With the implant, the most painful spot that I had was the incision for the alternate reservoir location.

I never did have very bad pain, but the worst discomfort was always on the abdominal incision. Now at 5 months post, I am totally pain free. The only discomfort I have is when I pump the implant to the point of pain as a stretching and capsule formation preventative. You will only need 70 to 80 percent of maximum for great sex. By the way I find that excessive pumping reduces feeling in the penis while pumped up that far.
