Inflation issues

I was implanted 4-1/2 weeks ago and have been aggressively pumping for about 10 days twice I had a similar experience… did some reading the first time and found it took some extreme pressure to get it to unstick… used both hands and squeezed as hard as I could and all of a sudden it freed up and worked perfectly for several more days, the. It did it once again a few days later and I knew immediately what to do and it worked again. Put whichever hand you normally use and grab with your other and give it all you got… good luck. Hope for the best

Is there any chance you accidentally squeezed the pump and hit the deflation button at the same time? This would cause the pump to lock out until it is reset.

There is a bit of a break in period for AMS. The valve in the pump can be sticky at first. If it gets caught in an in between position it does strange things. Aggressive deflate, aggressive inflate, and do the end squeeze to free up the little ball valve. If major issue (leak) you would have a flat pump. You should be back off your feet in no time!

That’s nice, but we’re talking about a Coloplast product in this situation.

Thanks everyone for the inputs. Today I have been following your inputs with minimal results. I squeezed the bulb really hard as hard I could with pressure from both hands and was able to inflate it to about 30%.. what's weird is that after sometime it's auto deflating. So I am sure something going on. As I am pumping some part of it seems to be deflating too resulting in partial inflation and after sometime auto deflation completely.

I am not sure if there is any other way to handle it.

Did you feel any sound or anything to know that's it's working or just visual and physical change of getting hard? Either my hands are weak or I don't know what I am doing.

While I am glad I am just surprised I am the only one who seem to have this issue. Too stressful as I was hoping to have sex with my wife tonight.

How many pumps did you do and were they small pumps or full pumps

I tried both Rick without any avail. I gave really hard and strong pumps with both hands. It inflates but also deflates simulateously..

A little dated but it was a recommended solution.

Thanks Jim. I was so stressed I didn't even do a simple Google search. I think this could be the issue and solution but so far not working out. I might be doing something wrong

It's pretty common for guys to have to go back to the doctors to learn how to use the pump though. I remember a similar incident awhile ago and the valve wasn't closed.
