I am new to this site. My hope is that people on this site can help me with some honest answers; good or bad. I have done extensive research and read a lot about penile implants but I am currently unable to separate facts from advertisements because of my experience with prostate surgery and the highly advertised “nerve-sparing” Da Vinci Robotic Radical Prostatectomy. As I read some of the postings on this site, I cannot but wonder if some of the posts are from paid agents of Doctors, AMS and Coloplast.
I am not looking for any guarantees, just honest answers to help me make informed decision.
I am considering an implant? Anyone heard of any implant work by Dr. Andrew Kramer in Baltimore, Maryland? I’d like to know both the positives and negatives.

I second Rich'w comments. Implant best thing that I could have done. For me it was excellent.
With implants, I believe that there are only two types of outcome: Amazingly good; Amazingly bad. I have yet to see any posts with mediocre results. This might also be a result of the type of surgery and the effect of the outcome. If it works reasonably well it is a big boost to the ego, sex life, and overall feeling of satisfaction. If it doesn't work reasonably well, it is the biggest downer imaginable.
This leads to the conclusion that almost all successful implantees, will sound like agents for the implant company and those that did not have success will be adamantly opposed to even the thought of an implant. The "happy with the outcome" rate is definitely higher than 90%.
Examine your body, your expectations, your available surgeons, all the information you can find; then personally make the decision that is right for you.
For me; getting an implant was the best thing that I could have done to repair the damage to my sex life caused by the prostate cancer.

Re: Need honest responses, please.
Every man is different and every surgery is different, so there are no 100% guarantees. When other options fail what do you have to loose? I have had my Titan OTR for almost 16 months now and I could not be happier with it. No pills, no VED, no needles, nothing to carry around with you. An implant flat out works every time and is ready to go in seconds and lasts until you can no longer stand it. I only wish my penis worked like this when I had a body that could keep up with it. As Nike says, "just do it."
