I started with the 5/16" needles but had 4 non hits right off the start.
I switched back to what the Euro used, the 1/2" needles, still have a miss
once in awhile but mostly good hits. The 5/16" just wouldn't work real
well for me. You gotta use what is best and most comfortable for you,
everyone has an opinion. Change things up and experiment a little bit,
you will get it sooner or later.........good luck to you!

The order came with 1/2" needles, but the group seemed to be suggesting the smaller size - Mike
Personally, I had a lot more misses with the 5/16” needles. I switched back to 1/2” with much better success. I’m above average girth and that may explain it. As you said, the target area is pretty large but you still need to reach it.
Ah!!! Best return to to 1/2".

Either size should work for most guys. For me it can be easier to go too deep with the 1/2" needles. However some guys will need the longer needle.
I sent you a PM.
Tom - Thanks; still reading your stuff. Did a little anatomy research, and as everyone else already knows, that hard thing I've been going thru is the Tunica.
What is logical, but was brought out during the discussion, is that the injection is in three dimension. Apparently you can get a good distance from the base, can hit the "clock-face" correctly, but if you don't get the depth, you won't get the desired effect. If you don't have an "experienced" partner to tell you, guys may have no idea if they were big, small, or normal! Ha!

Thie video worked fine.
I wonder if the role of massage after the injection isn't getting the attention it should get. Do you think that step is intended to move the material all thru the corpus, as opposed to just stop any bleeding? - Mike
Re: How can I be missing?
The compression itself would be to stop the bleeding. The massage is to help spread it around. I'm don't know with certainty whether the massage helps or not. I think it does. I do put on the rings fairly soon after injecting. Among other things I think it slows the escape of the meds allowing them a chance to work. Do you want the ring video?

Do you have the ring on for the entire time you're having sex?

I use a cock ring with Trimix. Without it I would need a stronger dose of trimix for the same hardness.
Plus when I take the ring off, the erection goes down at least somewhat.
Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD
2023 still in treatment for PD, and still using Trimix with very good results

Yes.
Ok that's interesting, did you always use it or only after it started losing some potency? You're one of the few that didn't need to up the strength all these years. Can you use a higher dose and avoid the cock ring? I only ask cause they can be quite uncomfortable.

Before RP I didn't do anything to enhance the sexual experience. I didn't need it although in retrospect I probably missed out. Rings have resulted is some play not previously experienced. Actually some manscaping helped there too.
I discovered rings while trying to perfect my injection dose and technique. After the RP I'd lost a good bit of sensitivity contributing to anorgasmia. Initially I had some ache from larger doses of alprostadil which I also believed contributed to anorgasmia and initially I didn't respond as well to alprostadil. As I got farther away from my RP surgery I responded somewhat better. I never did respond well to pills. They didn't result in any erection at all. They still don't but my response to injections did improve. I obviously have considerable nerve damage from the RP surgery although it was supposedly nerve sparing. Prior to the RP I didn't really have any major ED issues.
Anyhow, I started playing with the rings to hopefully boost my injection response, which I found it does do. I went through a fair number of rings before I found the ones that worked well for me. I also discovered I liked the rings and more importantly I discovered my wife liked the rings. Although she doesn't like them if they're too thick.
So no, I didn't start using the rings only after the injections started losing potency. They did allow me to use less injection meds. I have not increased my dosage over time. I actually reduced it from my initial doses. Some reduction was just due to me perfecting my injection technique, some was from use of rings and some was, I believe, from what little nerve recovery I've had.
Yes, I could increase my dose and negate any need for rings, although both my wife and I have discovered we like the rings. I also fear increasing my dose will exacerbate my anorgasmia issues. I do not find ring use uncomfortable. Keep in mind that the novelty/sex shop rings I use are not nearly as tight as what would be used if using constriction rings to hold a VED induced erection. If the rings are uncomfortable you're using the wrong rings or the wrong size rings. Too thick of a ring can get in the way and cause discomfort for both my wife and I. Too thin of a ring can be uncomfortable. You have to find ones that work for you. Expect rejects. I have a reject drawer.
Also, with the silicone rings, which is the material I like, some manscaping is imperative. Silicone rings and hair are not compatible. That doesn't mean you have to shave. It just means the hair in question has to be short enough to get along with the rings.
Of course you don't have to use silicone rings. Use what you find you like. Personally I found the jelly type material rings to be worthless other than for humor but other guys have found other ring types they prefer. Don't be afraid to experiment. Maybe some of the guys that like other types of rings or ring substitutes will chime in.
Good luck.
