Thank you for saying that. I've been really impressed and pleased with how little pain there is. Even now with the 72 hour numbing injection starting to wear off and I feel a bit more tender, it's still fully manageable and I can think straight. Looking forward to testing out the new equipment!

Correct, he did examine my penis on the call (which lasted about 45 minutes). I have also been seen by 5-6 urologists over the years so I had a good understanding of my options and potential outcomes. If I was in his area I would have done it in person, but it wasn't necessary.

Thank you! The glans will straighten out and fill out more when I pump up in 6 weeks, but even as it is, it is much better for penetration and I'm excited to do that. I could never really do missionary position before (except with pillows and all kinds of angles), so just having that as an option is huge.

Will the glans engorge when fully inflated or do you need to be aroused and have blood flow?

It engorged significantly when I was aroused, but that was painful so I have tried to avoid arousal. When I am pumped up more, it'll fill out much more as well.

Doc didn't need to use RTE?

If RTE is rear tip extender, I think he did. He mentioned something about that in our post-op meeting, but I didn't digest that info properly.

Hey North, I do not think I had a scrotoplasty as part of my implant. At least, I haven't been told and haven't seen the state of my testicles yet.

Most implant surgeries don't take very long. An hour or so generally. So, 4 in one day is totally reasonable for a high-volume surgeon. And no. the implant doesn't affect the engorgement of the glans positively or negatively.

As another poster mentioned above, the actual surgery took about 1 hour. The doc did not mention scarring, but he did give me instructions for incision care.

The glans will inflate more than what you saw in the pictures from just the implant. I have also noticed my glans engorging when I stand up or become a little aroused, so the blood flow can help as well.

I expect the glans to inflate significantly more when I pump up in 6 weeks. As I mentioned above in this post, I have also noticed it swelling naturally as before. The size does not appear to be significantly different.
