Thank you brother. I remember reading your posts specifically. I recall you having a very difficult recovery so I'm grateful that I've been lucky so far. Wishing you all the best as well!

48 hour update:
Note: I have uploaded two photos to the original post of my penis after removing bandages.
Today I woke up with a bit more pain than before, I think that's because the injection painkiller is wearing off. I've taken gabapentin and have been icing and it's feeling better, but definitely a little tender.
I removed the bandages, which wasn't too unpleasant, and took a shower. The water was painful so I soaped up my hand and used it to gently wash my penis and testicles, especially the incision. Walking around now is uncomfortable if I do not support my penis with my hand, holding it at close to 90 degrees. However, I have felt literally zero pain in my testicles so far. I am also able to find the pump (it is placed somewhere low directly behind the balls).
I still haven't been sleeping great, but I expect tonight will be better without the bulky bandages. My hunger is back to normal and my dry mouth (anesthesia side effect) has mostly passed. The bruising is getting better (you can see in the pics).
Overall I'm very optimistic about flying home in 2 days. I may have difficulty hiding my erection at the airport so I'm trying to figure out the best way to get through that, but it's not a huge concern.

Was an incision made on the lower side of glans (not the ones on the head)? What was it for?

I don't think an incision was made there, it's just bruising from the implant most likely. And the bruised area isn't particularly painful unless I touch it.

Glad all is going well for you. Showering for me was tough for a couple months my head was so tender.
Yes, my recovery was tough but that wouldn't stop me from getting a new one if this one breaks.
Good luck on your flight home. Doc should have given you a card indicating you have an implanted medical device if security asks. Some report having to have a pat down anyway.

72-hour update
I awoke today with some sharp pains, more than previous days. The pain was primarily focused on the inside of my penis near the glans. I texted Dr. Clavell and he responded quickly with advice. I have taken ketorolac for the first time, along with the other meds, and they seem to be working. I feel much better a few hours after waking up. The effects of the local anesthetic have fully worn off, my penis and testicles, which were numb and tingly before, feel normal, like they did before the surgery (minus the occasional shooting pains).
I am able to move around much easier. Standing and sitting are not supremely uncomfortable. I can move my penis around more and get it closer to my abdomen. Using the toilet is painless for urinating and defecating. My appetite is back to normal. I slept a full 7 hours last night without waking, with the help of melatonin.
I fly out tomorrow morning, very early, on a 4 hour direct flight. I was anxious about comfort since I will be wearing clothes for an extended time for the first time since my procedure, so I upgraded to first class for hopefully more comfort and room to stretch. I'm open to any advice from other traveller's on how to make my journey pain free and smooth.

Regarding your forty-eight-hour post-surgery pictures: NOW you're just showing off! Then again, I would do the same thing, and probably find some reason to contact that drop-dead gorgeous woman you mentioned earlier in your report. Something discussed in a different topic recently: Did you get information on whether the implant pump was a Titan one-touch or an older model?
Decades+ ED; finally ultrasound showed venous leak+arterial insufficiency. Infrapubic (Yay!) implant by Dr. Karpman 8/9/22; with 13 cm distal, 9 proximal Titan. Cleared for new life 9/1/22 and hoping to make up for lost time.

Thanks man, appreciate the kind words. I just may have to reach out to her...
Post-op I received a large packet of info about the surgery. One of those was something from Coloplast which indicated that I received the titan touch model, but doesn't mention the tme of production, that I could see. Here's a screen grab of what that includes:

I read Dr Clavell doesn't use a catheter anymore, how did you pee during the first few days after surgery (as in how do we avoid urine from making it to the surgical area, not drip...)?
