A New Reality

Postby Steven1111 » Fri May 10, 2013 7:46 pm

Well it's done. As of 30 hours ago I'm now a Bionic Man. Everything went really well and the doctor was very pleased and so am I. I can tell I'm a bit smaller, but then I expected that and think it'll stretch out some as I pump this thing up in about 4 weeks, as per doctor's orders. My balls are the worst and Ice is now my best friend, with a little dilaudid to help out. I'm so glad this part is over with and I can get on with healing and living my life, with a dick that will finally work again. Right now I'm a happy camper and feel good about everything. I'm even sorta horny already. Is this typical? Haven't read much about that part. Wow... ;)

I really want to thank all the fine men on here who have guided and supported me on this journey, and I hope to do the same for others. I've been amazed at the openness here and really honor and appreciate each and every story I've heard. The good ones and the not so good all have helped me be more realistic in my expectations and feelings about it all. This is a precious gift that is offered here and I'm so grateful to all of you.

I'll write more as I heal and continue to advance on the path. Just wanted to say thanks and let you all know there's one more of us now.

best to you all,
Steve

Yes it's typical ... why? ... because your subconscious mind has lifted the weight of ED off and discarded those thoughts. Once healed you will focus more on the "positives" and less (if ever) on the "what-if's" ...

Congrats! and keep us posted on your progress ...

Thanks for the congrats and the insight. Makes sense to me that once that specter of a constantly limp dick is gone I'd feel more sexual and feel those urges with more positive expectations. I'm already thinking differently and patiently waiting for when I can play a bit. I already feel better today than I did yesterday so I'm hoping it goes this well as I go on. For now tho it's ice, ice and more ice.... ;)

Cheers,
Steve
PS. For those who are interested in seeing who's talking to you I posted a picture of me and my partner on the "Faces and Names" thread in Members Only. I hope more guys start using that thread again. It's very cool to see you all!

Thanks, Rich.... Yep, I'm definitely on my way, to some very good places ... ;)

It's amazing to feel the difference already. I'm so much bulkier and heavier, but much shorter too, of course. I expected both so am not shocked. It just feels so different in my hands, tho it looks pretty much the same as it did before, except bigger overall and pointing down to about 5:00 or so, sometimes higher. The aching is tolerable but it's still there, and resting with an ice pack is helpful. All in all I'm doing quite well I think.

cheers,
Steve

Bxguy...

Thanks and congrats to you too on your new implant. I've been following your progress with interest and it sounds like it's gone well for you. That's great... I'm a couple of days behind you but I think I'm doing well with the pain issue too. Maybe not 95% but at least 75% so I'm happy. It does feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my psychic shoulders with this issue being resolved. I can't wait to play either but I'll be a good boy and follow doctor's instructions carefully. I'll be ready when it is for sure!! ;)

All the best to you and your soon to be real again hardons!

Hey Rich,

I already feel like a new man so I know it'll just keep getting better. And I agree that I'm ready for those sad looks in my lovers eyes to go away, tho he's been so wonderful and understanding with me about it all and has always been nothing but supportive of my condition. I'm a lucky guy to have him. Couldn't have done it without him. And now we'll Both get to enjoy the new toy with no doubts again! I can hardly wait....

All the best,
Steve

Hi Guys,

I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan in December 2007 after developing ED Post-ORP in February 2004.
The Implant completely corrected my ED and restored both my sex life and the emotional bond with my wife.
We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary September 8, 2012 and have been taking full advantage of my
Titan Implant for the past 5 years and counting.
I wish you all a lifetime of enjoyment with your Implants.
Welcome to Dave's "Brotherhood of Bionic Boners".
Bob
