Yeah sorry not trying to scare anyone! You will love it, it feels natural inside. I'm happy either way, and after posting, lots of people say they still basically have to hold the pump to deflate either way so sounds like my expert surgeon was just doing the right thing. Who am i to judge what a Mayo doctor with a lifetime of experience is to do. I feel embarrassed I even asked her about it but I was in a panic at 11:30pm and probably had meds in me making me vulnerable to question and be concerned. All should be fine and feeling great today on day 6.

What's this thousand erection guarantee?

I was just implanted on Monday 7/11. Looking through my paperwork, it looks like I was NOT given the Titan with the One Touch release which seems to be the latest and greatest.

Wondering if there were supply chain issues and they gave me what they could get or if this is the norm? Was really looking forward to the easy deflation and am pretty upset about it...I should've asked more questions like you all told me too but I got too nervous and trusted they were giving me the best of the best. Someone tell me I'm wrong and that the regular pump is more commonly used??

Hi. I was implanted June 20. I got coloplast titan and thought I got one touch pump release. At my 3 week follow up the doctor told me he used the 2 bar genesis pump and he doesn't think the OTR pump works well and is a problem. I was uncomfortable and wanted to release some of the fluid before my appointment but couldn't get the cylinders to relax. I kept feeling the valve but couldn't get it to deflate. Once I knew that I had the 2 bar deflate valve the problem was solved. Put index finger and thumb at top of bulb. Roll finger tips slightly away from bulb and pinch with constant pressure. You should feel a very slight movement of bar. The valve should allow passage of fluid out of cylinders. If you have old style pump this should give you deflation. Push on or squeeze penis to remove as much fluid as you like. Wish I didnt waste time trying to use a button that wasn't there
ED for number of years. Used pills and Quadmix. Venous leakage too much to overcome. IPP is only solution to my issue.Coloplast Titan 18cm+3cm RTE's on June 20,2022....Revision September 11,2023. Second revision September 9,2024 20+3

I was implanted may 18th so at 9 weeks. My Dr is a relative high volume implanter (150 plus a year) and when I asked he explained that he was not comfortable with the reliability of the OT version so all he does is the genesis. It’s a slight learning curve no matter what you use. I have no experience with the one touch but would think it can only release the pressure built up from pump. If I mash my deflate buttons and just hold I get pressure released but still leaves too much fluid in it for my comfort so I always squeeze it down anyway. As mentioned before me, it’s much quicker to just hold button and squeeze anyway and in a matter of 20 seconds or so I’m as flat as a pancake.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

When I went for my initial consultation with Dr. Brian Christine in Birmingham, AL, (May '22) I mentioned the one touch and he told me they have a new pump now. I didn't ask any more questions and he installed the Genesis pump (June '22). I was under the impression that the Genesis is the newest pump. However, I haven't found any information about it on the internet????

The Genesis pump isn't new, but the silicone used to produce it starting in late 2020 or so is the latest and greatest. It was always the most reliable pump mechanically because of its simple design. The spate of failures that occurred between 2018 and 2020 were caused by subar-quality silicone, which is no longer being used. That's why so many high-volume implanters (Perito, Eid, your doctor, etc.) are choosing the Genesis for younger patients who aren't likely to have manual dexterity issues in the near future.
Born 1982. Implanted with Coloplast Titan 22cm in August 2021 by the great Dr. Perito in Miami. 6.125" BPEL, 5.25" EG. "It's the girth that gets her off."

I think the genesis of today is a new incarnation of the old style simple and reliable pump. My doc uses only this "new genesis" I am not a young man but find the operation of the pump easy to master once you know what pump you got :P

Feel sorry for the guys that had to go through multiple revisions during this time cause of the defective pump. Wish there was a data base of implant model with failure rates.

Is there a difference between "Touch" and "One Touch"? My model/practice says Titan Touch. Started cycling today and before I went full bore I tried deflating with no luck. Been trying for a couple hours. Is the first deflate harder than normal for some reason?

Titan 20cm +2 rte Jul 2022

Ed since 2009, pills, injections both worked until they didn't.

Your signature block says you have an AMS. Do you actually have a Coloplast Titan?
