What medical supplies do you guys need?

Postby Frank Talk Admin » Tue May 14, 2013 9:54 pm

guys,
had a call from an interesting company that acts as patient advocates with insurance companies and providers. It does not cost the patient anything. They get paid on the other end. But they asked what medical supplies our membership used. i said Vacuum pumps, syringes, ... what else? They often work with diabetics and help them with multiple meds as well.
Is this something we should/could offer our membership?
Thanks
paul

Syringes for Trimix injections: I'll soon see my urologist and ask him to write Rx for Trimix. The "Men's Clinic" where i started Tx isn't the best source -- too much pressure. If you agree with the manager, he's okay. If you have reservations, he gets rather unpleasant. So if I can obtain Trimix Rx from my urologist, I'd like a reliable source for syringes.
For others on Trimix injections, do you get dosage of ingredients attached to containers when picking up supplies? How many of you pick up supply at the clinic? how many receive by mail?
Have any of you obtained Rx from your established urologists? Have you found general practitioners (urologists) who are cooperative in writing Rx for you?
I'd appreciate your comments. I'm new to FrankTalk and am trying to catch up on helpful info.
Thank you.

Syringes: Here in NYS they require a 'script.

However, even paying full price they are 29 cents apiece, available at the closest pharmacy. With my insurance they were like a dime apiece. So for me anyway, their availability and price are a non-issue.
RP in 2012 because of prostate cancer. 100% ED, also some leakage problems.

Your comments lead me to believe that you are in the situation I discuss in this Discussion Forum (General Discussion) under " How much do you pay / would you pay? "

Does your 'clinic' discuss all of the possible solutions to ED with you ? Or is your treatment simply an injection of trimix ?

Are the Doctors at that clinic Certified Urologists ?

Ripping off guys just because we will do practically anything to get our sex life back on track.... Even spending exorbitant sums of money thinking, "If it work, I am willing to pay anything for it "

Let us know .... so we can warn others
