BiDoink -- sounds like your strong opinion is that the original post and replies should have been Implants sub-forum. But since it wasn't, seems fair for us that also experienced the End of the Road with Trimix to offer our similar experiences, including going to an implant. Just my opinion fwiw.

And why exactly is it that those similar experiences can't be offered in the Implants sub-forum rather than continue to glob up the wrong forum? The seems fair part I don't get at all... and I think I'll just let that go.

The reason Frank Talk exists is to share knowledge and experience so each man going through the trials and tribulations of ED doesn't have to do it alone.
Phallicy stated in the first sentence of his post,
I wanted to relate my experience here, because I wish I had known several years ago what I know now.

If that isn't the spirit of Frank Talk, I don't know what is.

My experience and what some doctors have told me about injections becoming less effective over time is it's NOT usually the Trimix..but the medical condition that rendered the ED in the first place has worsened over time. I have heart disease, meaning it's clogging of my arteries that causes my ED..I have found 10 years later the injections still work..Most likely because the dosage was gradually increased but also I became a vegetarian. I have total cholesterol numbers less than 100...There is documented medical evidence that a strict vegetarian diet can halt and even regress heart disease. Many men with ED problems have diabetes, which causes poor circulation thus arterial blockages...even of the vessels leading to the penis. IDK the medical reasons for your ED, but be mindful that your initial condition may have worsened causing injections to fail or be "hit and miss".
70 year old legally separated retired health-care professional. ED began in my early 50's. Viagra worked great for about 5 years, then had cardiac by-pass surgery and eventually moved to injections about 10 years ago.

I did not anticipate my post would stir up such controversy.

But I did state clearly in my post:

"I was very disappointed because I thought that with Trimix my ED issues were over.
Now, I want to emphasize that this was my experience...there are plenty of Trimix success stories on this board, so keep that in mind when you read the following."

The following is the reason I posted this on the injection board and not the implant board:
I believe that there are men on this board who reached the same point I did with injections, and are in a state of despair because they considered injections, as I did, to be the last viable option to cure my ED.

I vaguely knew about implants, but the whole idea seemed so preposterous that I completely dismissed it: that you would have plastic tubes in your penis and a pump in your scrotum that you squeezed when you wanted to get an erection seemed to be such an insanely ridiculous option that I completely ignored it. It was only out of despair that I read more about it, and all I can say is that I wish I had explored the option earlier.

I apologize to those who I offended, but if it even helps one guy who otherwise be in a state of despair to at least read about an option that he--like I--had completely dismissed, and it turned out to be a solution...this is what FrankTalk is all about.
Born 1959. Pills worked then stopped. Ditto Trimix. Implanted July 2022, Coloplast Titan 24cm.

And that's why there are different and separate sub-forums. For guys to seek support and knowledge in the sub-forum appropriate to their place in the ED universe, so that they aren't alone. Globing it up with extraneous stuff from guys that have given up on the ED solution addressed in that sub-forum is not helpful. Again, there are members that are now implanted that do post in the Injections sub-forum that post helpful information they learned while injecting. Information that is helpful for injections to guys who are currently injecting.

This forum is heavily dominated by the implant guys and related discussions already. If a member doing injections hasn't noticed that and investigated the Implants sub-forum and the wealth of implant knowledge there then he's too stupid to help. The post belonged in the Implants section. An appropriate post in the Injections sub-forum might have been along the lines of "Unfortunately injections no longer work satisfactorily for me and I've decided to go for the final solution. I'll now be posting about my implant journey there. If I have suggestions, based on my experience, that might help guys doing injections I'll be sure to share here."

At which point you should have realized you're posting in the wrong sub-forum and reposted accordingly.

As previously stated, this forum is essentially an "Implants" forum. It is dominated by implant posts. Check the numbers. Any guy on here for injection information has surely noticed that and has beyond any shadow of doubt already perused the Implants sub-forum and already read testimonials very closely resembling yours, in the Implants sub-forum. They don't need you to come back and glob up the injections sub-forum. Implant posts are prominent most everywhere on this forum. A guy would have to be brain dead to not already have read similar implant testimonials in the implant sub-forum.

Phallicy wrote:I apologize to those who I offended,

Not offended. Mind boggled might be more appropriate.

Phallicy wrote:but if it even helps one guy who otherwise be in a state of despair to at least read about an option that he--like I--had completely dismissed, and it turned out to be a solution...

"but if it even helps one guy", "but if it just saves one child", "but if it just saves one life" IMHO tired phraseology which has justified poor decisions in the past. Life is never that simple, but oh well!

If you're trying to say that Frank Talk is about helping, well on that we can agree.

This disagreement seems way overlabored -- agree that at this point ,the poster should quietly move over to the Implant sub-forum -- there is so much to learn there from guys who have one as well as guys that are considering it and guys with apprehensions. When I was considering getting one I found a tremendous amount of help there. All the best to you.

You are correct, except I'm hanging on or waiting on the phone trying to get imaging and etc. straightened out for an ortho appt. tomorrow. Darn crappy knee! So not labor at the moment but time filler.

OK, what next! I'm ready! Go!
