How much do you pay / would you pay

Postby ohohiakane » Fri May 10, 2013 2:38 pm

I have been hearing a lot of advertising recently and although it may not be “snake oil”
products, I assume it is overpriced help for impotent men.

For the benefit of guys needing injections to overcome erectile dysfunction, I am listing
my costs for the same type of treatment by getting my prescriptions from regular medical
channels through my urologist.

$75.00 Trimix ... 2.5 ML of injectable Trimix same as 250 units
No Insurance coverage for Trimix, I pay entire $75.00
(my dose allows me to get more than 80 injections)

$10.00 my co-pay for Syringes (100 disposable) Total cost $17.16
Insurance paid $7.16

$35.00 My co-Pay for annual Urologist visit (Total cost is $151.00, Insurance picks up
$116.00)

I urge others with erectile dysfunction to get a referral from your physician for a urologist.
It will save you a lot of money I am sure.

Except for the Trimix, my costs are about the same. However, I get five 2 ml vials for $78 though my insurance co pay is $50.

I get three 2ml vials of Trimix from Avella for about $95, including shipping and syringes. My copay is $80. I think it would be good to mention the name of any mail order pharmacies we use, as this would give us all a way to shop for the best price.

I pick mine up at a local compounding pharmacy so I don't have to pay for refrigerated shipping. I suppose the formula may have an impact on the price also...
Formula is listed as:
PAPAV/PHENTOL/PG E1*
30MG/1MG/20MCG/ ML INJECTABLE

Whoever needs my Compounding Pharmacy's name and address, just email me.

I also get mine from Avella. I do not need syringes as I get them with my diabetic supplies.

I just lost a long, rambling blurb, so I'll try again. I started Trimix in March 2013 shortly after a new Men's Clinic opened nearby.
I saw an ad in the newspaper and went in for "the test." I passed the test, got a hard dick in allocated time and the clinic manager pounced on me a few minutes later. Got the hard sell! I signed on for 2 injections weekly for 6-mths. First visit I got 3 trial syringes, a small black cooler bag w/freeze pk, and 2 antidotes, if needed.
My best calculation, first office visit, and test was $199.00 and will receive 48 prepared syringes for the 6-mths -- total cost is about $25.00 per injection. No help from insurance. I paid, first visit, $1250.00 for the whole shebang!
PLEASE? Your input -- is my cost somewhere near yours?
Thanks . . .

Sounds like you got a screwing for the screwing you got. Sorry.

I pay just over $100 for a vial of Trimix which lasts me over 6 months. Granted, I use a small dose--2 to 3 units a pop--but I do enjoy my happy juice 3-4 times a week. I suggest you find a good compounding pharmacy.

Check other threads here, you can do it all yourself. You do need a prescription, and hopefully a urologist to show you how to inject. It's really pretty cheap when you do it yourself. Just off the top of my head, and depending on what dose you need, you should get dozens of hard-ons with $100 worth of Trimix.
RP in 2012 because of prostate cancer. 100% ED, also some leakage problems.

Birdh,

Well I see that you started with the ED Clinic supplied juice in March but did not join here until April, so I guess you can be forgiven for not knowing your ED Clinic is just a big scam.

I suppose you can find some solace in being a Bad Example of how to get Trimix and as a stern warning to those who come along in the future and read this thread to avoid those clinics.

Are you out there reading this future beings?? Keep away from ED Clinics!!

RP 2008 ... MUSE 2008-9 .. TriMix Gel 2009 .. Trimix 2009-2015 ... PGE-1 2016-2019 ..Misoprostal 2019 Onward. All worked.
