Asking for VED Pumping Opinion/Advice

Three years ago at age 67 I had RP surgery. Since then I have not been able to have intercourse due to lack feeling and a bit of incontinence when I relax. My Urologist PA told me that it's unlikely that I would get back to ability to have a erection good enough for intercourse because I waited too long for any intervention. "You have what your going to have" was her opinion.

Surprisingly now I have some feeling returning and Cialis works better than it did before. Even without ED meds I can "almost" get an erection that is 80% of what I need if I manually stimulate myself. I am not a huge fan of shots or implants so here is my question....

For those of you that have experience, what do you think my chances would be using a VED and rings? Maybe in conjunction with Cialis? Do you think it might work even after the time span from surgery to now? Do you think the right ring(s) would hold the small incontinence back?

Yes a VED and rings will work. In fact if your getting a 80% erection you probably will be fine just using a good cock ring. They come in many sizes and types. If you never used one don’t go with a cheap type that stretch very easy. I have not been able to get a erection for a long time and use a VED. Pills do pretty much nothing now, not much success with injections. You will get all kinds of replies on the VED. Some guys hate it. I don’t mind it. But I got one with multiple ring sizes so that I could find a size that worked best for my girth and keep a erection without being so tight that it caused a lot of pain and restricted ejaculating.

I agree with Mightyduck7x6. I cannot get an erection by any other means than a VED and I get a very strong one with it. Tried pills & injections to no avail. Tried several VED's and found Osbon ErecAid and rings worked best for me.

Without meds you can get 80%.

Once Viagra stopped working, a beaded cock ring and even a 1/2 inch rubber band doubled over and placed around the whole unit (behind the balls) worked fairly well. However, when these constriction items stopped working and even Trimix, I resorted to a VED and Osbon constriction bands which is the only way I can now achieve a hard erection. I did have to move from a medium tension band to a tight tension band and eventually two bands to achieve the desired results.

How does one use two rings? Two on the pump and push then both down at once? Or, one at a time, pumping between pushing the first and second down?

I have successfully used both methods. I use an Encore VED and can load 2 Osbon rings on it.
On occasion I will load 1 ring, pump up and apply that ring. After deflating and removing the pump I load the 2nd ring and fold the ears of the already applied ring inside the cylinder before pumping again.

Both methods get me plenty stiff.
Two rings at once is quicker.
One ring then the other does expand me a little more. In fact using this method my dick usually hits the bottom of the pumping device.
She does not notice any difference between 1 and 2.
Since time is a factor once ring(s) are applied I mostly use method one.

Loading both rings on the VED before pumping saves time. I push both off the VED on onto me at the same time. Remember that time is of essence as you have to have them removed before 30 minutes...keep an eye on the clock to be safe.
