So doctor and I discussed last month. Tuesday I see doctor again to get my first injection.

A little background. I’m 69. I’ve been on Viagra for 20 years. Slowly it’s effectiveness went away. So has sex life. I’m definitely more into sex than my wife, but she’s supportive. Last year I went on daily Cialis, with little help. Penetration once or twice over the year. I really developed PA.

So this week is the time. I’m very anxious. Reading the board here helps. So any recommendations. Wife asked if I want her to join the session. I said no. I want to see what happens with doctor first. I can’t really imagine that I can get a hard on in the doctors office.

So let me know any tips or suggestions. I’m a bit nervous about priapism. But more nervous that nothing will happen.

I don't think you have much to worry about. Most decent docs start out quite conservatively. It may take a bit of time to find the right strength and dosage that works for you.

That's great, I'm sure things will go well. The doctor seems concerned and careful just by the fact that he wants to do a test injection in his office. That's good but unfortunately not always the case.

There is no reason to be anxious but it's a natural reaction. You'll be fine.

Keep reading older posts in the injection sub-forum. There's a lot of good information there. Some not so good stuff too but this is the internet.

If the wife expressed an interest in going with you to the session then I wouldn't dissuade her. An interested involved partner is a valuable asset. If she's interested then take her with you.

Neither you or your wife should go to the session with any expectations. Make sure she understands that. That first trial and possibly more is a crap shoot. If your doctor is conservative he will want to error on the conservative side. Until the trial(s) your sensitivity to the drugs is unknown. So the initial results may be underwhelming. On the other hand you might get an outstanding boner and your wife might want to try it out. But have no expectations before hand. But yes, if the dose is correct, you most definitely can get an outstanding hard on in the doctors office, regardless the situation.

Don't be nervous about a priapism. Your doctor is there to address that situation should it arise, or should I say should it stay arose.

Don't be nervous that nothing will happen. If nothing happens then your dose and maybe mix needs to be adjusted. That's why you're in the doctors office.

There is some learning curve with this stuff. If you aren't suffering from major performance anxiety and if your wife is interested and wants to be involved in the learning process, without expectations, then great, take her along for the learning curve ride.

If you do have major performance anxiety issues or if your wife is uninterested in the learning process or gets impatient, then when you get your mix at home you may want to go for a few solo sessions until you get it figured out and are confident. Just be up front about it and tell her you have to do some trial runs (chicken chokin sessions) before you bring it to your bed. I had to do this as I'm an RP cancer survivor and I also had to learn to control climacturia and she wasn't into golden showers.

Every guy is different and will have a different journey. Don't stress over it and try to enjoy the process. A light attitude and a good sense of humor with both you and your wife can make the process fun. Start with a light humorous attitude with the doctor and assistants. They've seen plenty of dicks both flaccid and erect and have already heard any joke that can be thought up regarding this process but they'll still probably laugh at your attempts.

On the Dr fact sheet , they say that they start with 10 units. So we’ll see.

Saying 10 units doesn't mean much. The strength of the mix is at least as important as the volume of the dose. There are many different mixes.

Just be sure you have Sudafed on hand , if your erection becomes painful or is lasting more than 2 hours take Sudafed, do not wait 4 hours to put your erection down, because some "Doctors" do not tell what to do in case of Piraprism

Doubtful, he will give you enough for a raging boner. The purpose of the trial in many cases, is to show you how to do the injection.
In my case I got a nice chubby, I initially was disappointed, until the doctor told me that was the expectation. It lasted about 2.5 hours.

The starter dose is generally fairly small amount, which can adjust as needed.

I went solo.

The doc answered questions and concerns.

He was conservative. Started at 5. Within 90 seconds I had a chubby. Never got more than 40 percent. It went down after maybe 30 minutes.

The doc was happy. Told me to try 10 next time. He said that I could go as high as 50, but to just slowly experiment.

I ordered thru mail in pharmacy. Hopefully I have in a few days

Wife and I are excited to get started. Stay tuned.
