Injection onset delay?

Postby sogwap » Sun Sep 25, 2022 8:41 am

I've been using Trimix for about five months. I've done 25 injections.
I missed once, on my second injection, I got zero not even a chubby. That resulted in a three day silent treatment.
Thankfully I havent missed since and it starts working in 5-15 minutes.

Last night it took over 30 minutes for the injection to start working.
At 20 minute mark, I told my wife, "I dont think its working". :(
I dont have Sudafed, And was worried that if I inject again I could possibly get in big trouble. At 25 minutes (after injecting) I said again its not working.
She was disappointed. And said the mood was lost. At this point it was 1/2 hour since I got up to inject.

At 30 minute mark, it seemed to start working but I wasnt quite sure. At 35 minute mark I was 80% erect.
By this time she was clearly not interested, i tried to get her to feel for herself but she withdrew her hand.

10-15 minutes later I reached out again with light touches. To which she did respond 8-)

The injection took over 30 minutes to start working and I was erect for over two hours. Any ideas on why such a delay?

Stress and tension from, for example, an unreasonable, impatient, and unkind partner, can delay the effect.

I think most folks trying to titrate to a Trimix dose they can rely on experiment by themselves to start and once confident take that dose into the bedroom.

Personally it was always too variable, couldn't count on any dose to consistently work, and hence I'm moving on.

Agree with seekonk. And I'm thinking that you're not getting all the dose in a corpora. After I got good at hitting a corpora, twenty minutes always resulted in good hardness. Previously, I had your variable result.

We keep dildoes in the nightstand for my occasional failures; she rubs her clit with her "boyfriend" inserted, and she's happy. :D Two days later, I inject again.

Thanks guys. For clarity.

    1. I was not stressed in any way.
    2. All of the other injections took no more than 10-15 minutes to start working.
    3. Except for the one obvious miss, which got zero results (not even a chubby), the other 25 injections caused a reliable erections have lasted 1-2.5 hours (depending on dosage). I would also note this particular injection caused a 2 hr erection, I highly doubt it was a miss as it was not a partial or short lived erection.
    4. My wife has never been interested in anything except for my hard penis.

Last night it happened again. Injected but there was 25+ minute delay before any erection.
Normally the injection starts working in about 10 minutes.

We ended up with a no sex night because I had a delayed erection.
For all you experienced Injection guys any suggestions?

The no sex night started when we started some light foreplay and she seemed interested, so I got up and injected myself.
20 minutes later I got nothing. I tried coaxing the little guy. Nothing...
It wasnt until 25+ minutes (after I injected) I started getting full erection. By this time my wife clearly lost interest.
I tried to take her hand to feel for herself. She pulled away.

And to be very clear 35 minutes after I injected I developed a full erection for 2+ hrs. So the meds are working, But several times now its taking what seems a long time to get started.

I would also note since starting injections I have done several things differently regarding sex with my wife.
1st, Before I inject, I let her know my intentions, for injecting and sex. I do this to allow her to opt out, if shes not in the mode or not feeling well. (Previously when using pills, I would often take viagra and simply hope something happens. Over 50% of the time sex never happened. Mostly due to poor erections that did not satisfy.)
2nd, After injecting, and I come back to bed, I do not continue (start or) any foreplay until I have full imminent erection. This is to prevent any chance that she would be disappointed if he meds dont work as expected.

One thing I suspect is I put a cock ring on before injecting. This allows me to force blood into the penis and fill the erectile chambers so that I can visible see and feel those chambers. Doing this I've not missed in over 30 injection. Usually the meds start working in 10-15 minutes max. I leave the cock ring on until after sex act is finished.
I also find the resulting erection last 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
The thing is I've used a cock ring for 20 years, I'm pretty much addicted to using one.
I've also noticed using cock ring with Trimix the resulting erection is almost always 100%. Without the cock ring its 85-95%.

For all you experienced Injection guys any suggestions?

I also use a cock ring and find it boosts the erection noticeably. Also, are you massaging the juice in? After injecting I compress the injection spot with the alcohol swab I used earlier and while doing so I massage with it while compressing. It seems to distribute the juice faster, at least for me.

I have found once the needle is in my penis I inject slowly....25% of the dose...wait about 10 seconds..another25%..and so on..That an a cock ring might help. Also how old is the Trimix?

Yeah, I also depress the plunger slowly, in little pulses. It lessens the chance of pain from the meds also.

Two and half years using Trimix and what I've learned is that there is no consistency. There will be nights when things don't work out. Also, as scarring forms you will have to start increasing the quantity you inject. That is another variable that gets frustrating. Some men get a year out of Trimix, others get five. Injections are rarely a long-term solution. Bldoink and a few others have been exceptions.
