I'm thinking the Foley Catheter incident indeed damaged my penis and contributed to my sudden ED.
Will never forget the conversation with the nurse right before she removed the catheter:
Her: OK now relax, going to remove the catheter
Me: OK, is this going to hurt?
Her: No, it won't hurt, but it's going to feel a little weird
<She rapidly pulls it out>
Me: HOLY SH*T MOTHERF*CKER ^@#$^% (at the top of my lungs which could barely be heard due to post thoracic surgery fluid in my lungs)
Her: That shouldn't have hurt
Me: Holy sh*t that hurt -- that was the most painful part of this surgery experience thus far!

I had this *exact* thing happen when I had my surgeries, and my problems started then too. I remember right when they removed it, lots of blood, major pain, and some words about whether or not they had properly lubed it before it ever went in. Since that point:

- ED
- Reduced sensation
- Lost most of my ejaculate to where it's like droplets instead of ropes.

I have yet to get a Doppler done, but am going to talk to them about it. The urologists are sick of talking to me at this point.

Yes, I'm convinced that this event is the cause of my problems.
Now just doing my best to get on with things. Daily Cialis. Trimix.
Have to say the Trimix is amazing and my girlfriend loves it.

Sometimes I have delayed ejaculation with Trimix when my boner is too rock hard. Also some annoying pain/soreness.
Urologist recommends Bimix which he says isn't as strong. Gonna pick some up next week when I see him.

Happy to try it. I just want a nice boner that lasts an hour or so, doesn't ache, and isn't desensitized to make orgasm difficult.

In any case, it's all treatable; not the end of the world.

That totally sucks!

The pain and soreness can be attributed to the alprostadil (PGE1) as a fair number of men are particularly susceptible to that. However, even if not particularly to alprostadil pain, if some of the injection goes into the wrong tissues due to being too deep or too shallow, some pain and soreness can occur that can last for a considerable time. Take extra care to make sure you don't inject into the wrong tissues. This pain, due to injecting into the wrong tissues, can generally be felt immediately, even while injecting. Feeling pain or discomfort while injecting? Adjust depth slightly. I generally get this if I'm too deep. My best practice is to go too deep and then back out as necessary. If you're feeling pain or discomfort don't just keep depressing the plunger.

Thanks for the advice bldoink.

I generally don't feel pain or discomfort while injecting. The ache is more associated with having an erection that's so freaking hard that it starts to hurt after a bit. Not major pain, but it becomes distracting and makes it more difficult to climax.

So my strategy is to reach climax before the ache/pain starts to really set in, within about 15-20 minutes. My girlfriend encourages me to cum as quickly as I want because she knows playtime isn't over after I climax, given my dick will still be rock hard for some time, and I'll have an opportunity to cum again.

Yeah I know, first-world problems.

That's a very, very small dose. 10mcg would be a small dose. I can do solo play at 5mcg but need 12 mcg for partner play. Both scenarios assisted by a ring.

2.5mcg would just give me a thickened dick.

Oddly, I guess, when I first started I needed at least 15mcg.

I cannot understand how venous leakage can be diagnosed with a penis that is not erect. This is totally wrong. I remember in my younger years how my penis used to fall off if I was startled by something or just worried, Also if I'm too out of breath.....this is also venous leakage. In my opinion, the real problem is when there is leakage with an erect penis. This means that there is an area that is damaged and there the tunica or corpora cavernosa is not compressing the veins. They cannot give a diagnosis - venous leakage of a penis that is not even 20% erect. My experience was similar. Many times I can get a rock hard erection without pills , even hold it (until I start thinking too much), but many times it doesn't work. At the same time, with 2.5 mcg of alprostadil, they gave me a diagnosis of venous leakage with a 10% erection. Also to be told that this is apparently the maximum erection I can get because the Alprostadil is supposed to make me hard as a rock.

If you have the ability to get rock hard like you say then the VL isn't there is it? How could VL just come and go? If it does come and go, then that must lead us to conclude that there are definitely other factors involved in the quality of erection. Generally speaking nobody likes to be in a clinical setting, so wouldn't it make sense that the whole testing process could cause a man to be a little uneasy or have his mind occupied? I'm not familiar with the dosage of 2.5 mcg. I don't know if that is small or large dose. Your reaction to the scenario seems pretty normal to me. I would assume any one of us men would have difficulty with erection in the clinic, with a needle, and worrying about ED.

I can harden, but only after very strong stimulation (visual) or a surprising situation. Last time I had sex with a girl from behind and I was surprised how my penis was almost 100% erect for about 4-5 minutes and immediately after that it started again - 50%-80%,.... I fingered her and squirted this gave me 102% erection and shortly after 70%-80% again. Since I am post-fracture, I am not sure if after lying on my back the venous leakage starts or if I am psychologically afraid of this position. I have absolutely no idea what's going on with my penis. Also, I have almost no libido, my testosterone is below limits. But as far as I know from this forum, testosterone never causes erectile dysfunction. Before the accident I wanted to do solo and my orgasm was super strong. I feel like I'm sitting down to do a solo after the incendiary just to see how my erection is. The orgasm is weak and the sperm just flows out of the urethra without any force.

Have been using a rubber cock ring with success with VL. Trimix works fine, but I have had to increase the dose over the 10 years I've been injecting..

Confirmed the Bimix works much better for me. No pain nor ache like I would get with Trimix. Goodbye Trimix; not using you anymore.

Still dealing with some delayed ejaculation but at least not caused by aching penis.
