You have to be very careful, if you inject and the erection is causing you progressive pain you have to take Sudafed right away independently of the erection time, if you take those precautions your risks of penis tissue damage will diminish. Trimix works wonders for some men, I know a guy who is been taking Trimix for 30 years with no problems!!!!!!. Also start with a low dose first and increase it slowly if it doesn't work.

It greatly depends on the man, some men inject Trimix all their lifes and never have a problem, others develop fibrosis right away, it all depends of the genetics of each individual. Numerous Urologists including world renowned Dr Eid is completely against the use of Trimix due to the scaring process but others like Dr Mullan uses on hundreds of patients, Trimix is not as safe as Viagra or Cialis, is more invasive and carries higher risks, is up to you to take the risk

It is better not to start with trimix. Alprostadil alone is better, since it doesn't really cause fibrosis to the extent that trimix can. Trimix is a mix of alprostadil with papaverine and another medication. Papaverine is associated with fibrosis of the erectile tissues because of its acidity.

Even trimix would be much easier and cheaper to store and use without the alprostadil, but they add it in so they can use less papaverine for this very reason.

And that is why a good doctor will usually start a patient on alprostadil alone, unless it doesn't work.

Seekonk, you are right, but unfortunately most of the ED clinics that are not run by urologists started you with high doses of Trimix without the proper information on what to do in case of side effects, that is what happened to me at Summit Male Medical where they have Naturepath 'Doctors' injecting without knowing what they doing, and the owner is a former realtor, they are a very dangerous 'clinic', they are looking to make as much money as they can without any regards of the patients health.

I started using Alprostadil at the age of 34. Been using it for a couple of years with no issues. I highly recommend you avoid Trimix and stick with pure Alprostadil.

Additionally, i recommend you implement traction and VED therapy to make sure that if any scarring occurs it elongates and does not contract your penis.
