Re: New to FRANKTALK
Thanks Antelope. I guess I failed to mention in my original post that I had also tried a few injections but apparently, I am one of the lucky ones who have an adverse reaction to the drugs. Severe pain each time to the point that it was not worth it. Wood is great unless you have to sit around with an ice bag on your crotch to keep from curling into the fetal position and cry like a baby. Therapist and urologist both agreed that no blend/mix would produce desired results without pain. So...drugs, injections, VED all attempted and/or used. Leaning more toward the implant.

To Bootsnjeansguy,
I haven't posted for some time and maybe someone else has given you a suggestion about injections...Here's my short story...
I had open prostate surgery May 2009. All 3 oral drugs did nothing for erections for many months. I started trimix (injections)in December 2009. I stopped after 5 months.
Why? Trimix kept giving me longer lasting and harder wood, even with decreasing doses. Uro ED doc said that was good. I did have an ER visit due to priapism. My fault. If I had the right sudafed on hand, it probably could have been avoided.
All things considered, trimix jump started junior. Levitra is 100% usable wood at 10 mG now after I used trimix for a while. I think I'm almost ready for steady wood without anything now.
I am about 20 months post surgery. There is hope.
A two year time frame to recover function isn't unusual...look into injections.
All the best...BA
Find a URO that deals with ED and ask about caverject, trimix, bimix.

To add to my last post...
I had continuous problems with pain with injections.
I did stick with them and was looking at bimix, but never needed to go there. Levitra started working. Maybe try another formulation.
Best of luck...BA

I will add to Broken Arrows comment. At 2 years post Radical Surgery things have started to get better. I like BA believe that the injections are starting the engine. Sence then I have had success with viagra. I am still using the injections and hope for just a bit more wood before I move to just the pills. Part of this is in my head knowing that with the injection things will work. Pills not so sure all the time.
Good seeing a post from you BA.

Boots...
I also should have added that the alprostadil in caverject and trimix is usually was causes the same pain I had. Bimix doesn't have that chemical, to my knowledge, and it may be worth looking into.
Cajun Jeff...many thanks. Been busy.

Looks like a couple guys introduced themselves on this thread. I'll just say, "Welcome, one and all!"
60's. Married. Occasional ED offset by a variety of methods (VED pumping, foreskin restoration, edging) with Cialis and/or pills sometimes for sex.
